Right? Heck, Mattel’s not above releasing refurbished renditions of existing figures, as they did just that with the HC T-rex (the updated version has more visible pupils in the eyes and more saturated paint-work), so who says they couldn’t do a reissue of Blue with the stripes more correctly placed?
@@jcrews8582 yeah most likely though will put a 2.0 version of blue with over the blue stripe like they did with HC Rexy but only time can tell so far they did pretty good with the Carnotaurus but it’s only a matter of time for battle at big rock / dominion, Allosaurus to show up in the larger scale line
Once thing I've noticed on Hammond Collection is how many have junky jaws. If you compare the two Dimetrodons there, the old ones jaw just seems to fit so much more naturally in, whereas the Hammond one just looks like a big joint.
I so will want Mattel would also do in Hammond Collection : -Jurassic World Tyrannosaurus Rex with especially the shorter feet than the head (the feet 1/3 shorter than the head), and all the scars : those on the right, on the muzzle, and those on the left especially at the level of the shoulder; -T-Rex from JP3 with especially the shorter feet than the head (the feet 1/3 shorter than the head), and the scars on the right muzzle; -Spinosaurus with tail measuring halfway through the total length of the body, the bigger sail, and the feet not so big (the feet 1/2 shorter than the head); -Suchomimus with tail measuring halfway through the total length of the body, and the feet not so long (the feet 1/2 shorter than the head); -After the Hammond Collection Velociraptor Blue, Jurassic Park 3 male and female Velociraptor with especially the shorter feet than the head (the feet 1/3 shorter than the head), the jaws or even the slightly longer head as well as the tail; -Jurassic World Pteranodon; -Tarbosaurus with especially the shorter feet than the head (the feet 1/3 shorter than the head); -Dreadnoughtus; -Utahraptor feathered with especially the shorter feet than the head (the feet 1/3 shorter than the head); -Deinosuchus and Sarcosuchus with the tail measuring halfway through the total length of the body; -Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton poseable with especially the shorter feet than the skull (the feet 1/3 shorter than the skull), the tail measuring halfway through the total length of the body, and skull more based on the T-Rex AMNH 5027; -Deinonychus based on the concept art of the Jurassic Park movie or Dominion with especially the smaller and shorter feet than the head (the feet 1/3 shorter than the head).

What an improvement, that Blue looks amazing compared to the sh*tty original. The dimetrodon is just ok and Owen is another Owen, although probably the best Owen yet.
Hammond collection is such a joke compared to Beasts of the Mesozoic. Ever since I got my BOTM figures I cannot look at my Hammond stuff the same way. Good review though!

This line of toys is really starting to get under my skin now with the constant barrage of "Hopefully they fix this moving forward." When I picked up my Concavenator the thing was missing a middle toe claw for God sake. Sort it or abort it, Mattel. Over this BS.
Giving Owen the head-cam that should have logically come with Blue and not his rifle was definitely an...odd choice. It's not like they're opposed to giving HC figures guns considering Muldoon had his SPAS-12.
That Blue doesn't look too bad honestly. We still need a Hammond Collection Spinosaurus or Indoraptor though.
