Honest betting question: Can you explain the appeal of doing a 1 unit futures bet at an even money? Doesn’t the opportunity cost of having that unit tied up for a whole season out weigh a potential 1 unit win?

Future bet are tracked. I bet more than one unit on futures, but because I do not like to see people get into trouble with Sports Betting I recommend one unit place on futures. You can bet whatever you want. I do bet more than one unit on futures because your point is accurate. it’s a long season so let’s make some money off the future. But I just do one unit for the tracking purpose of the bet
