Thinking about your observation on the lack of balance... 48 men vs 16, Alex, shouldn't the attacker need a 3-1 local superiority for success?
Anyway, interesting insights into early stages of the playtesting phase of game development.

@@StormofSteelWargaming Life at the pointy end of a local superiority isn't supposed to be fun...it's supposed to be short! 🤣
If I remember rightly, 3:1 was at the 'iffy' end of the range, definitely aim for 5:1 against prepared positions...and, you'd be the expert on this Alex, the tech of WWI would probably push that ratio higher.
