In reference to the A and B reference. Angela Kang, the Walking Dead showrunner, said that "A and B has something to do with the thing that Jadis was involved in which was human trading and it a has a way to differentiate between classes of people". The only group that I am aware of that focuses on the different classes of people is the Commonwealth.
I love that they give him an open ending and now we're gonna get 3 TV films with Rick Grimes. The Whisperers are coming and Negan's redemption arc is on the way too. Everything's going great for us but not for the group. LOL

Well, you're reactions weren't the best, you guys talked through all of the emotional scenes. Fun little factoid: The song that was playing while Rick was rescued in the helicopter was the same song that was played at the end of the very first episode when Rick was hiding inside of the tank.

Ok I am glad Rick survived but he's got an open wound & was in a lake of walker body parts so by the shows own logic he should be infected.
Maybe he had his wound covered by his hand the whole time he was in the water

The scavenger have been getting supplies from the advanced community with the Helicopter in exchange for humans which they needed for different uses, here's my idea:
A - Probably a bitten person, sent for experiments in that advanced community (maybe to find out some new stuff or maybe find a cure).
B - A person who could be used as work force for the advanced community.
Think about it, Rick and Negan were labelled A in season 8 (A was sprayed on the container which they were locked in), Rick escaped but Negan was almosty forcefully bitten by Jadis. Gabriel was almost forcefully bitten too this season, after Jadis said to him "I though you were a B" after he told her he won't just go with her because she wants him to.
That also explains why Jadis always betrayed the other groups - she had her own interest and wanted to cease any opportunity given to her in the ongoing conflict.
This time, Jadis didn't need supplies, but she wanted to join that advanced community so they told her to give them an A if she wants to join. She couldn't give them Gabriel because she felt too bad about it so she tried to trick the Helicopter guy and kill him, but later as she saw Rick she saw an opportunity to both save him and get to a new home so she convinced the Helicopter guy to

This was a tough episode to watch, very sad and final until Rick is whisked away by Jadis in the helicopter. Bravo TWD team... you made Ricks departure a little easier for us who love him. Hopeful he will be back in a year or two
I watched about 30 of these whether it's one person two people 4 people this episode was so emotional everybody cried men and women.. the black chick I never saw anybody smile for an hour straight and look at the camera 15 times...Creepy🤯 every time they started talkin it sounded like an echo chamber where you could barely hear any of the episode at all at least the hot blonde had enough common sense to turn the volume up right at the part when Rick started talking to Shane good for you..Next time more volume less talking🙄... the hot looking blonde to the far left I could watch episode 1 from the beginning up until the very end she's cool watched the whole episode just the way I would... I don't know how anybody could not cry when they saw Hershal in the barn very sad part and when Rick blow the bridge up people don't know if he lived or died he was everybody's hero from the beginning...👏👏🤠🤠👏👏👏👏👏

Yes there has been a 6 year time jump and just to be clear Andrew Lincoln (Rick) is done with the Walking Dead TV show but he will return in at least 3 original AMC movies of the Walking Dead with Rick in different locations and communities.
