While devotion time has always been a part of my adult life, it's only now, during this beautiful time of retirement, that I can devote myself more completely to it, without rushing through to go to work. I look forward to spending time with my creator, reading the Word, praying, drinking my coffee as I speak with Him, listen to Him. I regret that I wasn't more intentional about this prior to being retired.

As I grow older I have discovered that I enjoy my time with my friends in my Bible study group. Just 5 ladies getting together around the Word. We start out by reading a chapter out loud. Then stating what stood out. Last week we all like the same passage for different reasons and we just followed the trail of ideas to other passages. We all have different levels of knowledge about thew Bible. But, although I've studied the Bible longer, I learn insights from the one who knows the least. As our friendship grows so does our understanding of the Bible grow and our knowledge of Jesus also. You just reinforced what we are doing as friends.
I am only 59 but I attend a seniors small group Bible study based on Sundays sermon. Their wisdom helps me in my life as I get treated for lung cancer and continue to work as a home health aide for seniors. Because of these videos I can contribute more to the group. Thank you Brandon for pursuing your gifts of teaching and pastoring.
Iam catholic and don't have a l the bible I start my each day by thanking Him with a gratitude song and I dedicate my day to Him talking to Him while I cook and wash dishes or clean the little place where I am still stuck in and I LEARN about the bible thanks to video so thank you for what you do. Thank you, Brandon. Sunday evening I started having great pain in and around my left knee. Monday I could barely stand. Today (although with a lot of pain) I was able to walk around outside a little bit. Tomorrow I try to walk to work (a couple blocks from home). Prayers are treasure!

A friend and coworker drove me to work, because I had no more sick days left (we only get 3 each year). Now, today, Thursday, I walked to and from work, and while not the knees of a youth, it seems that in only a very few days, they are back to normal (for me). God is good!

I used to think you had to pray with scripture, and because i couldn't understand the Old Testament, i gave up on reading the Bible every time I tried. I've always believed for as long as I can remember. But I never memorized scripture. This show has fed my spirit and allowed me to start to read the bible again. I felt a call to pick up the bible before I found this show. I will always defend this show to the naysayers for that reason. Some of our religious leaders still act like the ones in this show, and it turns people away from the Lord. Plus, I've always wanted to learn about Judaism but never took the time. I like that you are wearing a The Chosen shirt 🙂 Maybe it wasn't that the Apostles weren't good enough to go on to Bet Talmud, but rather their families needed their sons to work to support the family. 🤔 By the way, we have also memorized Scriptures even in these days. 🙏❤ And more importantly, the Roman Catholic Mass comes from Scripture, the Rosary comes from Scripture.

and i’ve learned so much and understand better on what’s going on then before when watching …this video encouraged me to start memorise the Scripture again and not just read because i used to memorise verses before then i started to get lazy , and memorising Scriptures really helps when you pray, cause you pray according to the Scriptures ..
