All you people complaining about price are ignoring the cost of a crazy cart XL, cost of R&D, cost of the new parts, time for disassemble and reassemble plus striping parts and powder coating. There’s probably 12-16 hours of labor in each of these. And finally the cost of having a place of business.
You can also buy the parts separately and build it yourself and save $1500. That’s the profit margin, that’s pretty decent.
Im sure in time there will be a cheaper and more efficient way of making parts

Double the size and power, add brakes and this can be a real competitve motorsport.
If you want to buy parts but don’t have the money you can buy upgrades from fafo mods which are much cheaper
You can get the cart and a 1000w and 48v upgrade for about 2k so the other 2k is just a frame i Guess

Not just a go-kart, but one that can drift.
the engine on a go-kart is +1000$, you can get kits online with 48v 1000w motor, controller and battery for 600$ (they get it much cheaper, the 500W motor costs 52$, you can search it by the serial number, in their page it costs 110$), so I doubt the cost of a single drift kart is 1200$
I understand they have other expenses, just the web looks expensive, but I think they are ripping customers off

Looks like you're in florida, same streets as me, those stock wheels only last literally less than 10 minutes on those types of Roads so I see that you've changed the wheels on the new one, do you have any recommendation of a wheel I can put on my stock Crazy Cart XL where I can ride it longer than 10 minutes? Besides that you need polished concrete or the wheels are just going to go out. I've already bought a few sets and they're 40 to 60 bucks a piece. I guess they didn't think about giving different wheel options with different types of surfaces

@granthones I've went through 5 pairs of OE or original equipment if you order them online stock. The Florida roads eat the tires up literally in 15 minutes.
so by the comments, these are made specifically for flat, smooth, straight roads. they don’t last long on any slightly different textured roads and the battery sucks. the wheels don’t last long and it’s overall incredibly shitty and needs probably an extra 1000 dollars worth of upgrades before you can actually ride it properly without issues. that’s cool. sadly, i live somewhere with many.. MANY banks (i live at the highest point of my city it’s a workout going anywhere) most roads are smooth but i doubt this thing can get up any sort of upward pavement. wish it was worth the price.
Taxi garage offers different casters and tires for better riding EXP I have one and rode it on gravel before and it was fine

I’ve destroyed the upgraded caster’s wheels set, from TaxiGarage, on the second battery run.
Not even going to talk about the main wheel 🤦🏻♂️ 🙃

@@nxtarfac3246 My bad, I should have made it clear, it was the long board wheel that came with it.
But I did have some issues with the bearings on one of the caster’s. It would lock up on one side.
I added more grease and it seemed to fix the issue.
It’s been a while since I used the cart.

Even razor selling them stock at 1000 dollars is extremely excessive. Hell. A set of real drift/race wheels like some te37s is around 4 grand. And those are real race wheels. 4 grand for some shopping cart wheel casters and an electric scooter motor? That's crazy to me. This is some serious shekel grubbing.

You need to compare a stage 1 to the razor crazy cart. Those are the same price. You’re comparing a $4,000 cart to a $1,000 cart as if that’s a fair comparison.
