Great to see you, Sara, and all your inspiring projects. I want some mohair now! The sound was off/on but I was able to hear you just fine. I didn’t know you were a nurse! You will bring a lot of sunshine to your patients with your sweet personality ❤️
So nice as always to see you. I am doing a bits and bobs blanket to use up my sock yarn bits and am thoroughly enjoying it. Good luck getting back into nursing. I too am a nurse. I work in Labor and Delivery
Hi Sara, I have learned some good new to me textured stitch patterns from you, and I would like to pass a new to me stitch pattern back to you that is knitting up very well. I found the info. in an old UK mag. The stitch is called "speckled rib". Knitted in the round you need a 5 stitch repeat for this one. Row 1 - knit 2, purl 3. Row 2 - knit 2, purl 1 , knit 1, purl 1. I had worked my rib stitches in a knit 2 purl 3 formation to feed into the pattern. May you never drop a stitch from Bonnie Scotland.
Yes there were issued with the sound of your video but I was still able to enjoy it. I always love to see all the socks you have knit! I m struggling to !make a pair but I will not give up! Tha t is wonderful that you are going back to get the training Minn required for you to practice being a nurse. Being one that spends a lot of time in the hospital I know there is a shortage of GOOD nurses out there. You would definitely be a keeper. You are so kind and sweet. Good luck with that. Take care and may God bless you always.
I enjoyed this podcast - that room with all those windows is amazing! I can't believe all the progress you've made on your knitting, even if it's been a while since your last podcast.
I was so happy to see you had a new podcast out... but I had trouble hearing you. Love your new puppy, I have s Bichon and we love her, we usually keep her cut like a poodle because it’s always warm here in Arkansas.
Hi! Lovely to see you again and my goodness, Jane is so cute!! What a sweetie. Lovely to see what you have been up to and good luck with the nursing course. I hope it goes well for you. S x
Hi Sara, I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed seeing all your socks 🧦 and your shawls! Thank you for the boomerang shawl pattern, and I loved seeing your hand spun yarn. Good luck on the refresher course, Nurses are the best.
JoEllen Cox awe thank you so much! I haven’t been podcasting. I’ve been working on getting back into the nursing field. And it’s been a crazy summer! I’m still knitting tons of socks though!
Great to see you again. Your projects have inspired me to cast on another sock and dive into my handspun to see what might work for a shawl. Stay warm.
So delighted to have you back with another podcast. Missed you. All your current projects are inspiring. Good luck with your pursuit in your studies. We never can have enough good nurses..
That's Sunshine Yarns in Hunger Games! 😍 How fun you're using it - I should follow suit with all my stashed handspun. I don't make much time to spin these days. Miss you and love getting to see you!
Sara I hope you're doing great, I just remembered your lovely podcast and was wondering how are you doing with all this craziness right now. Lots of love from Tennessee!
Thank you for sharing your joyful projects. I have project cast on non stop this month making it difficult to focus on my socks. When did you sign up for Adelaide Cottage Advent Calendar? I would love to sign up this next year.
Congratulations on going back into RN world. I am a NP who graduated from U of MN many years ago. I love MN and miss it but now live in Alabama. WHATTTT?????Alabama my friends all said....but that was many years ago and I am still here in AL. So, hearing your podcast from MN is joyful for me.
I’m making a Penguono with my minis. I’ve made a magic knot ball, and I’m holding it with one strand of Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light in Antler, and one strand of CherryPurls in Alba.
I didn’t know you are an RN! So am I. I am retired and if I went back to work, I would really look forward to the review course. Once a nurse. Always a nurse. That review course has to be set up for folks like you. Not like taking boards again for sure! I will miss your podcasts but you gotta make a living too!

Sara your knitting is so gorgeous!! :) :) I turned on closed captioning and it was great - meanwhile I have to have CC on most of the time anyway, because my house is noisy haha!! Best of luck with your studies! :) ~Marina
Pineapple Yarn oh thank you marina!! Yeah I’m so sorry my sound was so wonky on this video. I think my iPhone was just being finicky! That’s cool you can do CC. I need to try that too!!😂😂
The audio is horrible. A minute of muffled sound, followed by two seconds of blaring sound, the more muffled fuzz. So disappointing, not to be able to hear about your projects.

Great to catch up with you! And hello from a former nurse. I'd need to do the refresher course if I decided to go back to work as an RN. Good luck!

Please don’t apologize! Your podcast is great, and I’m grateful you took the time to record! 💗
I’d say Motherhood is pretty much a constant nursing refresher course ~you’ll do great 😉
You could do a Battenburg blanket with your leftover minis. They are small squares so that should work well. The audio problem was no big deal.💕
SARA!!! You're back! Oh how I've missed you!
Oh no I can’t hear you :-(
Congrats on nursing adventures! Hope they find an instructor!!!
