I like it when you have very few people on the water a person can fish in ease no wakes no bass boats and jet skies to keep you rocking keep your videos coming
Same here, I have noticed that sometimes, not all the time, small wakes made by wind that give your baits just a little action can entice more bites than just slow drifting on glass. I have also been a firm believer in the "boat bite" on some days. I have had times where I was getting nothing... Then a boat comes by and i get a bite. I don't know why but a lot of times I have noticed a bite shortly after or white a boat goes by. Maybe It stirs some up and gets them moving around and helps them find my baits or what. But for the majority of the time I agree, No boats=way better fishing trips.
Good action/video. I don't know what river you are on but it sure is pretty there and yes on the empty water ways. The wife are lucky we're retired and don't have to fish the weekends.
Another thing i like about catching live bait for cats is that they are a natural presentation and what the catfish normally feed on that particular body of water im fishing
They're good for casting. I prefer the piscifun chaos xs 50 for drag weight. Piscifun has 20lbs and I believe the CatMaxx only has about 12lbs. Depends on the species of cat and what size they get in the water you fish. If you're only averaging 20 to 30lbs being the biggest in your water the CatMaxx does just fine. 40 to 60 I'd rather use piscifun chaos. And 60+ lb cat I want something beefier like the c37000 abu. They all will catch big fish, but the cheaper reels will get worn out faster on big fish. They are definitely worth the money. Abu 7000s are running $200+ a reel. Piscifun around $60 per reel
