Wow! If only the story focused on his road to king and the brotherhood instead of the lackluster love angle. LOL. But once again, PHS shone so bright in this drama despite being the 2nd lead. I am such a fan. I can't wait for him to come back from the military so he can make more beautiful projects. Missin him so bad. Lol
Yo creo que PHS se llevó todo el protagonismo, gran actuación, gran personaje, un hermoso y noble rey.
Coincido contigo en el triángulo amoroso innecesario, aún así me gustó que Ah Ro se mantuvo firme y no jugó con el Rey, al contrario lo respetó siempre y lo ayudó a creer en si mismo y tomar el trono.
He visto muchas series coreanas pero está es la primera que vi, y mi favorita, la num 1 para mí, con mensajes muy positivos.
The evolution of Sam Mek Jong into JinHeung should have been the main focus of the Hwarang story. The lacklustre love angle of Seon-U & Ar-o just diverted from it. I don’t care that JinHeung didn’t get the girl. He got his throne which was the whole point. That should have been a bigger focus. My favourite scenes were when Seon-U & JinHeung have their final showdown, & when the Hwarang pledge allegiance to JinHeung as king. That was the magic moment of the show for me. Thank you for making this video. As for Park Hyung Sik, he deserved to win every award for this performance. He was that great. I became his forever fan because of this role.

This is the BEST video of Sam Mark Jong!! Truthfully I enjoyed it more than the drama Hwarang itself! You're very creative and Park HyungSik is definitely beautifully represented in this video. He's my favorite actor, thank you for giving him justice through this video which sadly Hwarang didn't. LOVE this video!!!

After 4 yrs, this video is recommended to me. And I'm glad to watch this than I was watching Hwarang. Sam Maekjong/ Ji Dwi had so much potential and Park Hyung Sik nailed the character. But the scriptwriters ruined the show by giving focus to the uninteresting romance. I was never interested in that so called 'Romance'. When you say Hwarang all I remember is King Jinheung / Sam Maekjong character. If only the shows center was him and his growth as a young king struggles to find his way to his throne and his people the story would've been much more interesting. Most of the times the drama tried to highlight Sun Woo and failed miserably.

This FMV heals me from the injustice the Hwarang writers did to Sammaekjong. I love everything about this video, I love seeing the journey and growth of the young king, his importance as a character and his impact on Silla, something we should’ve seen in the drama. You managed to convey an extremely powerful story within 4 minutes, something the Hwarang writers failed to do across 20 hours of run time. Standing ovation to you and Hyungsik as Sammaekjong / King Jinheung.

e x a c t l y ! sun-woo was wayyy to romanticized in the drama and i felt like it too away the spotlight for a great character like king jinheung. he was always still deemed as weak and cowardly, even towards the end when they crowned him as king (there were still doubts). they didn’t emphasize enough on the maternal influence and his fight to overcome it and rlly make a name for himself

Si, pero también es bonito el papel de Son Woo, al final resulta ser primo de el rey, y siguen juntos para gobernar Silla. Me parece que el personaje de Son Woo también trae muchas enseñanzas, y no deja de lado al rey, la actuación de PHS brilló por si misma y se lleva la historia.
Here again after watching Hwarang 2 years ago. Melle Yang sums it up so well for me. This video truly does give Ji dwi / Sam Maek Jong / Jinheung's character justice. I also loved seeing the journey and growth of the young king, and how his character develops because of his peers and real life influences from living outside of the palace. Something we totally should have seen develop more in the drama. As you have used his words here in your video, the scripts for his character were good. However the other 'romance' (never shipped them) took over and spoilt the true story line. You managed to convey a powerful story something the Hwarang writers / director failed to do. As Melle says 'Standing ovation to you and to Park Hyung Sik'. Love this video.
Hello. I know Hwarang ended months ago but I just only watched it recently and saw your video just now. Anyway, I really have to commend you on how well-done this is. Your editing is top-notch and the BGM and dialogues you used for every scene is perfect. But then, having watched your video also made me realize what disappointed me in this series. I got on board honestly expecting the story to be about Jinheung and the Hwarangs, which it wasn't. Not exactly. Oh well. At least we have videos like yours. Thanks again! ^^
