I would like to see a "reimagining " of the active duty military. At this time, Spec Ops are the top in the field, but I would like to see special forces groups created from the current Spec Ops guys who would be even more elite. These elite spec ops would be the first to put boots on the ground, and able to be anywhere in the world inside 24 hours. As to the active duty military, I would like to see many positions changed ( over a decade or so) to reservists, (not all positions) I can see medical, engineering, computers, MPs and many other fields as active reservists and serve for a month(+/-) a year. Now, I am not talking about cutting the total size of the military at all, I would like to see the reserves increase by 400%. The goal would be to have more reservist's and a decent group of active duty aways available. This would supply a great group of trained folks to serve when needed, and also to be trained by the military and then return to their communities to raise the standard of living for many cities. The Gov would also need to encourage new military to enter fields (for training) based on the greatest needs for the USA's labor pool. Better training, longer tech schools, better GI Bill opportunities, and mix in reservists with the average working folks. This would be instead of offering student loan forgiveness and get the gov out of the student loan business. Tech school would not be for any SJW fields, only actual career paths that the country( and the military) requires.
Most decorated in military are usually headquarter companies. You get awards and medals when others put you in for them. Why Bo Biden is so decorated for being a reserve lawyer. Also ltc vidman forgot how and where he won the Purple Heart.
Whether a small nuke or a city buster you are toast if they hit you. When these guys get wars started that mean nothing to us they put us all at risk. Are their families at risk too or do they all get to go to the shelters and be safe? If not maybe they will not push it to the point of no return.
