I just learned that it was shot on 35mm. I had assumed it was shot digitally and made to look like it was shot on film. A great decision on Song's part, it gives the film a warm texture. Love it.
Not me watching this and understanding the whole movie perfectly! Probably a good thing for my heart for it to only hurt for 2.5 minutes instead of 1.5 hours

Their first hug in NY, the last one before the taxi leaves and the unbearable sadness of the impossible makes this movie so f@cking perfect.
