Sky with clouds wheel thrown vase

I want to share with you my weekly art post showing my processes in creating anything from wheel thrown vessels to drawing and sculpting. I hope to inspire others to search for their creative outlet whatever that might be. This video shows my process in creating a vase inspired by the Earth’s blue sky. This is part of my investigation where I will create at least 10 works showing elements of Earth including sky, water, ice, stone, or anything from Earth that inspires me. For this work I used wedgewood blue mason stain and white unstained porcelain to throw a vase. I wanted to make the illusion of clouds moving on a sunny spring day.
