The winter 1980 JGB tour was one of the finest they ever did - almost every song was 15 minutes or longer - epic versions of tunes like Russian, Simple Twist of Fate, Dear Prudence, Harder They Come, and last but not least, the debut of After Midnight>Eleanor Rigby>After Midnight sequence
No matter what he showed up and put out 100% a lot of tension in there if you listen closely made for a great song

I was 5 when this was recorded. Didn't really get into the Dead until about 8 years ago through friends. better late than never .
