Michelle solidified their sound. Michelle can SANG. She had more leads than the other members ever had. I never looked at her as a third wheel. She jumped in the middle of something that took ten years to build being that they constructed the group since they were 9 years old and Michelle was definitely doing more than treading water. She added to the group and was able to jump right in. Hence why Farrah didn’t last.

Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins is likely hiding in the background of this video interview with the "newly" "remade" version of "Say My Name". Different from the original "jingle-like" demo, which Beyonce apparently hated. Say My Name's final release version was immediately recorded after the album cover shoot, which apparently was this exact video. BTW, thanks for the video UnbornSuperstar.
There's only one video for Say My Name but there was an original version recorded beyonce didn't like. She stated that it sounded like they were in the jungle and needed to be re done. I've never heard it and don't know if it's online or not but if Beyonce never did that we would have a completely different sounding Say My Name.
I have to be honest! This was my favorite album for many years. But the last 2 Kelly albums, Here I Am and Talk A Good Game are flawless masterpieces full of epic R&B anthems. So you know what I mean. Toya solo albums are perfection too.
