- Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson, two of the most talented (and popular) vocalists of our generation sing and perform the now classic hit song "Beauty and the Beast" from the motion picture of the same name.
The song and recording was a Top 10 hit in the U.S. and Canada, going on to win the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1992.

Fantastic vocal chemistry. Whoever’s idea it was to bring this soul balladeer legend and this pop goddess together is a genius. Two of my favorite singers of all time and one of my favorite male/female duets of all time.

@DetroitLives313 Thank you for posting this! Theirs was barely released as a single on December 30, 1991, so it made sense to me as the original singer was Angela Lansbury(Mrs. Potts) in 1990.

Love the way they sing this live. Peabo's vocal skills are crazy and very underrated. Obviously Celine has a great voice, but her solo stuff does nothing for me. The one she did with R. Kelly was nice though.

This is 1992, not 1991. The 1991 AMA's were held in early 1991, B&TB came out in November 1991. Please change this.
