- Our old Victorian home was built in 1895. There are 6 fireplaces in total. They are all very ornately done and beautiful. There is one that is in our creepy basement and not so pretty but interesting none the less. Todays video has been requested and I was excited to share all of the fireplaces in our home.

There is nothing like a cozy fireplace...I loved having one in our cabin in Tennessee..it just warms the place up...so cozy..

I cannot believe all the detail and craftsmanship on each of those fireplaces. It’s hard to pick a favorite but I love the fireplace with the greenish tile in the entryway. It’s very grand. The first fireplace you showed in the living room is almost identical to the one in my mother in laws living room and I always wanted to see that one close up. Her house was built around 1900 and the brown and white tile is exactly the same. It must have been all the rage back then lol. Loving history, I was super fascinated by the basement fireplace as well. I am sure there is an interesting history to its function and construction. I am so happy you shared these with us. They are works of art.

Jen,I just loved seeing all of your fireplaces, even the old creepy one in the basement. I loved the one with the lion's paws the best. I live in a 100 year old house with a beautiful fireplace. I would love to live in a Victorian house. Speaking of Victorian houses, my favorite vacation place is Cape May which is a town filled with beautiful Victorian houses. I usually stay at the Mainstay which is a gorgeous Cape May B&B. I was not able to visit there this year because of the quarantine. Thanks for sharing your house with us!!

Unbelievably Beautiful fireplaces! Love love historical homes and stories attached to them as well! If I could only just thrust back in time to see the homes, things, everything as it was!! Loved them all! Yes please do another vid of your home on anything there it’s just gorgeous! Also would love to see any original pics of your home from the 1800’s if you have any. Oh wow, I was hoping you'd do this video!! I just love all of them, they're beautiful. It's hard to pick a favorite but I believe it would be the one with the lion's paw. There's just no comparison to the work and detail in older homes, I wish I lived in an old Victorian but I'm doing what I can to give my brick ranch the feel of that long gone era! I would love to see more videos like this, and hear the old stories (ghost ones too!!) about the house. Thanks for showing us this, I just love it!

Hi,Jen. Thank you for sharing your fireplaces...they are all beautiful. I think I like the one in your dining room best,but it would be hard to pick one. That's a beautiful clock on the mantle in your livingroom. (The one by the stained glass window) Are they all hard to keep dusted and polished? I didn't see a speck of dust anywhere. Lol good job.
I love them all! Are they all made of oak? And I know what you are saying about the one in the entry It's gorgeous, and I especially love the color of the tile.
I loved seeing all of the fireplaces in your lovely home! We used to live in a historic neighborhood (1918+) and loved it! We had brick streets and special events for our neighborhood i.e. sleigh rides for the holidays, home and garden tours! Share more of the beautiful house please!

Beautiful fireplaces that you have! How that blue ornate clock is from the original owners is also fascinating! Sadly it's difficult to find Victorian homes in good shapes in where I live (So Cal) plus they would be super $$$$ and unaffordable. Great video and tour!
