It's really just 3 things : 1. position of picking hand (incl. pick angle) 2. machine-like execution and synchronization of both hands to make each note ring out cleanly 3. stamina
As I said in a previous comment, so many people think it's easy to play Malcolm's riff on this song. I've maybe heard one or two other people on youtube come pretty close, but never exactly the way Malcolm crushes it. Stevie Young doesn't even play it correctly
@@elbronco80 agree, Stevie doesn’t even try. Malcolms playing on this is insane. His using a pick but it deadset sounds like he’s doing pick and fingers 1-5-1-5-1-5 plus the syncopated rhythm bit. It’s mental. I’ve never heard it like this before and this has blown my mind.
I love Malcolm riff on this song. SOOOO many people think it is 'easy' to play. I've heard MAYBE one or two people come close to playing it right. Not even Stevie plays the rhythm correctly on this song. That is the genius of Malcolm and Angus - they make these riffs seem like they are so easy and anyone can play them. FALSE. It's easy to imitate, but very, very few people play their riff correctly.
I can give you a few pointers.....basically you have to turn the volume way up on the amp and Angus said part of his tone come through using his wireless set. He said he now uses a wireless for recording in the studio. They have never used any effects pedals, as far I can recall.
It seems so simple, but the reality is only the masters can pull it off correctly.
Actually, its picked not with pull off.

@@jacquesd5781 That's still hard
@@user-fv9er3by5n Yes, lol. Angus is a beast. Live, his energy is unparalleled.
actually pull it off is a saying😭
Malcolm's rhythm guitar is so unique, man. His playing and tone are one of a kind. Angus isn't so bad either.
Well. Malcolm is AC/DC. Angus gives the spice to the sound. Ang's tone is more focused on the solos.

Malcolm's genius rhythm is often overlooked by Angus beginning lick... So much groove in this rhythm is insane!
Not to mention the tempo, I don’t think it’s ever been so easy to get lost in one bar alone, that damn opening rhythm riff
I got chills
1:25 For the best part.

It's kinda weird hearing this with headphones as it goes from ear to the other.
well played, kid!
I don't know...the audio from Live at Donington has been tampered with a lot and patched up so it could be any number of possibilities.
hi from 2022 are ya alive?
@@user-vp7ot4ug4n No.
the channel name is really good!!!
Wow
Foda demais
what program did you use?
how did u make this instrumental?
I can't figure out why AC/DC power chords are the best power chords. Tone, voicing or what.

3:06 I can't understand how Angus do that gliss with the E powerchord that's impossible to do without seven strings
In that part, Angus plays the E power chord on the 7th fret of the A string, and then slides down, while Mal plays open E chord
Cuz he's mither frikin Angus frikin Young

Does he speed up in the beginning?
what is with the fake ending?
I have a feeling this was taken from Rockband AC/DC. That's how it ended in the game.
