Congrats Mathew! Your my kind of inventor. I have had many hands on jobs, and learned from every experience.I call it our personal toolbox. A skill set that naturally transfers into product development. Good luck to you going forward.
@inventRightTV WOW!!! The one and only Mr. Key himself. The word "WONDERFUL" never meant so much to me. Wish you and your family a happy & healthy new year sir. YOUR THE MAN!!!
@inventRightTV luck is when preparation meets opportunity! And I feel so lucky to have you Respond Mr.Key. My name is D.J. Your advice on walking the trade shows would be great. How to be effective with no tangible product?
This is a great, very insightful inventing story!! That’s awesome! I’m finishing my PPA for a kitchen product and I hope to have success like this collaborating with a company! Congrats!
Rather than a cylindrical stainless steel hose, how does a flat hose, like a very low slope speed bump, sound? The holes in the hose can be directional, some straight up for the area of the hose, and varying angles for near and far. The hoses would probably need to terminate at the edge of the grass, and a fitting to the distribution hose.
Everything you have to say about the product refers to it being capable of being automatic, yet you show a film of you shoveling snow. If it takes awhile to clear the driveway without shoveling, choose the best temperature and snow cover, and show a time-lapse video of it working, and after it has worked, a video clip at full speed of the garage door opening, you getting in your car, and driving away.
It is sad gardeners are not developing more ideas to license. The US spends more hobby money on gardening than any other hobby. I am working on many I just do not have the money for Invent right yet. Waiting for book sales to improve so I have the cash to work with.
Thanx for the tip, have a couple of ideas in this area on paper. This guy is talking about his problems not having cold enough weather, know a guy who mortaged his home to pay for molds for a type of snow shovel and that winter it baredly snowed. We only here about the winners most places, not here though.
Congrats Matthew... Wow we have so much in common. It would be awesome to chat sometime and hopefully kick off a great friendship. I sent you an email.
In a licensing agreement, you (the inventor) want to negotiate so that you continue to own the IP - including any and all future improvements. We have created many resources on negotiating licensing agreements, including a playlist. If you're looking for help, contact us: www.inventright.com/contact
YOU HAVE MY MIND GOING THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM JUST LIKE YOU, I HAVE A BOOK FULL OF INVENTIONS BUT YOU SAID SLEEPING DINOS LOL AND THATS GREAT BECAUSE THATS THE FIRST ONES I WILL CALL FOR MY KITCHEN APPLIANCE SECTION !!!!
I'm a cheapskate, if I can't get the last bit of wine out of a box, I blow it up and breathe the fumes until it evaporates*. I envision there being a half cup or more left in the bottom. * Just kidding, I pour it into the corner and pour it directly in the open spout.
The first thing I would do if I conceptualize the name of my product is use it in a search engine. klearway.com/ is the site for Klearway, an oral appliance to inhibit problems from sleep apnea. People will search for your product, and find this. One benefit to your brand, is that it is not, "Klearway," but, "Klear Way." That may make a difference if you have yet to obtain a web page. If you have, it doesn't come up in the first page of query results.

Sounds like a great idea. Black ice is terrible.
