I'm learning from theGuitar Wisdom and I have made more improvement in 3 weeks from these, than in 3 years on trying to teach myself. And I have only learnt 4 videos altogether, 2 from Neo soul section and two from the funk section. I can mute better while trying to play funk, and my chord changes are becoming more fluid. I even got a 12 string yesterday and learnt some Led Zepp, Pink Floyd and Extreme songs. Tomo, you are the man. I haven't even touched the tip of the iceberg with your lessons, this is money well spent. Thanks Tomo!

The main guitar of Tatsuro Yamashita has been Fender Telecaster for the last four decades which he bought from his friend around 500 dollars. He composed 'Sparkle' with it in 1982 and still play in 2019.
I have been listening to Tatsuro Yamashita's album "For You" and when you mentioned the Japanese Pop style, I recognised the sound but only when you played it with the rythmn pattern. I had a big smile on my face. I really really love the Japanese 80s funk. Mariya Takeuchi - Plastic Love. Is just WOW. Would love to learn that Japanese Funk pop. Thanks Tomo.

Could you maybe one day talk about substitutions? I’m really interested about the method of using different chords in a chord progression but it sounding similar to the original progression? :)

Hey tomo thanks for the lessons! I'm curious where the B / C# comes from. Would you think about this as borrowing it from the major scale or is it more of a chromatic passing tone? Theory makes my brain hurt im self taught. But it seems like this progression is sorta functioning as i bIII bVI V if it were diatonic just more colorful is that right? I also signed up for your course so ill check that out!
I cant figure out the all the chords u play in the upper stages of the neck, could only get thet 3 first chords, could you tell me the others mr Tomo? Love your channel !

You can call Sus9
i can hear SPARKLE by Yamashita Tatsuro! could you please make videos on Yamashita Tatsuro style of funk rhythm? with chords
Thanks so much! I am sure a lot of people done that video?? I love that song!!
I thought you were mixing Japanese and English when you said "bottom note." I thought you said ボトムの音w 空耳ですね。
始まりのコードはA/BまたはB7sus2に聞こえます。Bm7ではないと思います
ありがとうございます、またTom Misch にも聞いときますね
That flex tho in the starting 😡
