As soon as you tell them you’ve changed the colour of your dust caps it’s another £300 and a temu gearknob another £500 😂😂😂
Dust caps ,🤣 fking hell
And £200 less with the neighbours wife as a named driver 😅
Seriously dust caps are deemed a modification?
@@Zeyr01 Yes, because they weren't there when it left the warehouse. You need black plastic caps to stay normal.
@@TheLondonCyclist So they'll void your whole insurance because of dust caps? 😆
These two have definitely given each other reach arounds
So basically boys simple answer is…don’t fucking crash then there’s nothing needed to pay out and void your insurance
If one of those is chasing ya be worried.. you won’t believe how quick that can go from 70 to 130 in 5th !!! 😂😂😂😂
EcoBoom. Engine will go 😂
Don't forget you need business insurance for business use like deliveries
Awwe look at him dressed up in his little outfit
Surly if the car was modified legally and reported to the insurance companies by previous owners, they already know its modified?.
That's the game. They hope you don't tell them, so they can get out of paying out when you crash.
That's assuming insurance companies share details like this, which they don't. which is why they have to ask for your proof of no claims, or your mileage etc.
How do you get it to the garage without insurance
What insurance company / companies specifically would insure a modded car?
Adrian flux
@@Cordfosworth cheers bud 👍🏻, does it come with a fair bit more premium?
Ive found them to be quite resonable
They used to give discounts on car club members back in the day 🤔
@@Cordfosworth too bad am not any members of any clubs 😅, still ta for the info 👍🏻 would be great help.
So do u have to tell ur insurance that u have an areo kit or different wheels
Yes, absolutely anything that isn't as it came from the showroom now needs to be reported.. you even need to report if you don't use Runflat tyres if the car came with them on in the first place.
Or just check with your insurance company what their list of mods are that dont need to be declared first.
I dont understand some of the rules on this. Surely if you put something purely cosmetic and dont want that part covered by your insurance you shouldnt have to pay more money since they arent even having to pay out for the part? I can understand when it comes to modifying suspension, engine etc. but why would they not allow this for cosmetic parts?
If the cosmetic mod makes it a larger target to thieves etc then yes.
@@uknitro oooh that's a perspective I didn't think about. I can see how having splitters etc. installed would make the car look like its been modified to go even faster in the eyes of a potential thief. Good call
Also if it flew off at hit a other car, how do you explain the spoiler that flew off lol
Does this apply to headlights? Halo angel lights?
Yes, applies to anything that is different from when the car came out of the dealership.
Don't tell them anything
Tell the insurance is standard, don't shoot yourselves in the foot, even if you crash, they won't give a s&it, you claim over the phone.
If you dont declare all mods "They wont pay you out" but will they still pay the other third party you crashed into ???
They can completely void your insurance..... could be a very pricey "oversight "
They will pay the 3rd party which could be, in the event of serious injury a small fortune.
They will then come after you for the money.
Assuming you have any.
Soon be cheaper to drive without insurance
soon? its been cheaper to drive without insurance for years, the fine you get when your eventually stopped is cheaper than what insurance costs.
Insurance is just legalised theft.
