Unfunctional cameras can't record anything. Always the bane of stealth missions, am I right? Too bad they haven't implemented consequences like that. I mean the problem isn't just getting in and getting out without being noticed, the problem is that you ever being there must go unnoticed until whatever you tried to get is secured. Even if you just knock a dude out, that guy might report the fact that they were knocked out and placed in a dumpster (they might not report it in fear of being replaced due to incompetence) A missed opportunity.
@@Gdisele Hanako mentioned exactly that ! Security was compromised, everyone knew something was going to happen, and still they just proceeded with it. That made Hanako doubt her brother, that's why she contacted V later in a motel.

Okay so the slow, confident walk straight into a high tech military base with the set music and scene makes this really cinematic. Not to mention this is one of my favorite missions in general.
Again, another example of why in the game lore of Cyberpunk, elite-level Netrunners are so god damn scary. The ability to wreak wholesale havoc without so much as lifting a finger is terrifying.
Thats why the most fun Ive ever had in a game is playing a high level netrunner in Cyberpunk RED (the table top), you get to be extremely creative and just wreak havoc, as long as you're smart about it, and you dont get brain fried.
The problem I have with that is that it makes the world highly inconsistent. The best defence against godlike netrunners are defences and defenders that cannot be hacked because they lack any hackable features. Ideally with strong magnetic walls around them, to fuck with anyone who tries to sneak past instead of using the offical entrance. The more plausible mage-character would have a high tech skill, and macgyver his way through the fortresses of the rich and powerful.
"Not bad for a petty merc of the streets" Dude, this was godlike. A force of biomechanical nature that just happened to pass by those unfortunate enough to be in it's path. Magnificent.
The Power Level of V ingame was never represented in the story at all. One of the worst things in the game is the amount of Ludonarrative dissonance. It's off the charts.
I'd imagine most Legendary Netrunners, like the one in the thumbnail, would casually strut with hands in their pockets, leaving a trail of bodies as a calling card, leaving you with nickname "Medusa."✌️🦊☕👌
There's something just so satisfying about seeing a big group of enemies talking tough, only to all of the sudden be barfing all over each other from Contagion, which with the right mods spreads so much nothing is left standing.
I love how stunned V sounds at the end with that "it worked!" like she didn't just stroll through a building and cause everyone to off themselves with merely a cold glare
Something that would be nice for the next game is your character's level of confidence in dialogue scales with your character's level. So a super high level character who's basically a legend will present themselves as such.
@@ethanpfannkuch5510 Lol, imagine a high level character just sounding bored after all that. Like it's just a chore for them, like picking up milk at the store.
I like to think that they shut off their emotions or go full machine-mode while using daemons, and they snap out of it and are just like "oh...it worked!"
This is why I believe that in Cyberpunk universes, the relationship between full organics and people with augments is something akin to rock paper scissors
This whole plan would have gone very differently if Arasaka made sure half their security detail were just non-augmented mercs to prevent stuff like this (they'd still have to be pros to survive fighting someone with combat augs, but at least they wouldn't off themselves after being looked at for three seconds).
@@rando5638 well then they'd be annihilated by simple bullets, completely outclassed by even basic augments. The REAL defense against this exact strategy would be netrunners fighting back, ICE and more attentive security. This is a GAME, if they made it totally realistic we'd never be able to beat it. Remember what happened to T-Bug? That happened cause they went into lockdown and upped their security from hotel to get bent. It took SECONDS to track her down and fry her.
@@ShardtheWolf MaxTac are cyberpsychos who were brought in alive. Runners typically go lighter on chrome, so they don't usually go cyberpsycho. The one cyberpsycho runner in the game only went psycho because his brain was partly scrambled by another runner, netwatch, and an emergency extraction from a deep dive. Since situations like that are usually lethal, you don't see many runner psychos. Plus, MaxTac isn't exactly trying to keep cyberpsychos alive. So it's less that they don't use them and more that they don't have them, or at least, not many of them.
@Social Injustice Goblin they wouldn't cancel event, cause now Erinobu is a head of a corporation and as Takemura said it is more important to him to prove that he is much more powerful and capable then his father then actually accomplishing something worthwhile.
@Social Injustice Goblin yeah low cooldown sandevistan build is so good when it comes to stealth too, you can just zoom past an entire enemy outpost, do your shit and then dip like nothing ever happened.
Suspending the known context of the setting, this brings to life a fun alternative scenario. The tone and look of this all gives this vibe of some 'boogeyman' net runner, never seen or heard, but when they strike nothing but bodies are left with no signs of a fight, only signs of what looks to be either mass suicide or a massive wave of fried chrome.
Perfect music for this video. Because in game it always accompanies fear, desperation, disaster, and all those other things that hit you like a hammer in the head, leaving you shocked. It fully catches an essence of this build. You are slowly walking through the facility, and everyone around kill themselves, explode, burn or even straight up drop dead. This slow walk of death... Truly bone-chilling. And it's not intense terror of knowing that a madman with mantis blades is rushing around killing everyone. It's quiet, heavy despair. You see everyone around die, and you know that soon, your hand will pull out a gun against your will, and pull a trigger against your head. Uugh... I got goosebumps from just thinking about what it would be like to oppose a menace like that. A netrunner this strong can abandon their body and go with Alt into the cyberspace. You are already strong enough to survive all of its dangers
Or, worse yet, your own body will be cooked from within, with all your implants catching fire, leaving you unable to move, put yourself out, or do much else beyond scream for help that will never come. Or, you might not even be able to do that, depending on what you had done to your vocal cords.
When Goro said this "you are truly mad" line to me on my first playthrough, it was after I'd bounced around half this area and ended up smashing the walker to bits with a katana... it was loud... there was a lot of flying machine parts, body parts, blood, oil... yeah I kinda felt truly mad.
On a new build I tried gunning it down but then I remembered I had Body to the max and went in close instead. After the noise I got the Takemura line and was just... yeah that /was/ awesomely mad, Goro, thanks
The bullets flying version is great, but just.....WALKING IN while your enemy literally self-destructs adds a whole new layer of "you're fucked" to the experience.
This is one of the things that so put me off of this game. It simply shouldn't be possible to complete this mission any other way than by stealth, meaning, not triggering any kind of alarm. Taking out the whole place with your personal version of invulnerability build, be that Tech, Cool, or simply being lightning fast, sure is fun, but no sane security manager would let the parade happen after such a massacre. You are a 20 body battering ram "solving" all your problems with fists or shotgun? That's impressive, but you won't be able to take the Takemura route then, as well as not making any money from thievery gigs. Would have given the game some real replay value.
They can say whatever about this game, but I've never felt more immersed in a experience than while playing it. Everything makes sense and feels right where it belongs.
Yea I’ve enjoyed it as well… I did wait like a full year before buying tho lol… but yea… I’ve really enjoyed my time with it… I had heard the combat felt bad, but the guns all feel pretty good to me and the AI for the enemies reminds me of metal gear solid

Yoo glad you enjoyed the vid! 😎 in terms of the build there isn’t much to talk about - crucial things are basically almost maxed out both int talent trees, cold blood and a few perks in ninjutsu 😁 Additionally legendary ex-disk and memory boost from frontal cortex cyberware, hackslinger mod for the hat and ofc tetratronic rippler with legendary quickhacks 😎
Exec: "You know, I prefer it this way. They charged by the bullet used to defend the property. So if they each just used one, it actually just saved us money."
I always pushed myself stealthy on that mission. I'd go in without touching/hacking a single person. Nobody would have known V was there at all, like a ghost.
I'm currently running a Raven Mk 4 for the inceased quickhack spread distance, But actually any of the legendary cyberdecks, with (at least) ping and contagion, are ludicrously powerful.
This game lets you make utterly broken characters if you so choose, though those play throughs weren't as much fun for me. Needed a little struggle to keep things more interesting. I ended up favoring jack of all trades builds where I hadn't mastered anything but could switch to the best tactic for the situation. Made the game more tactical, didn't just brute force through everything.
This is what I did. I didn't wanna be God tier. I wanted V to struggle. I did see a pretty sweet ninja blade build though and might go through with that next time. It was extremely OP though so idk if ill be able to commit long term. Lol
Problem is, you have to actively try and avoid synergies between the talent trees to build something that isn't totally broken at level 50. Some of the talent trees enable easier gameplay than others, but you can max out two stats, or create a balanced mix of three. Since the talent tress are not tierded, you can piece together some highly efficient stuff.
I think i play the weirdest build out there. At the moment i am trying 15 body 12 engineering and cool and 12 int 3 reflex. Pretty fucked up i kill half of them in stealth while quickhacking some and suddenly i appear out of my invis camo and literally blast them away with my shotgun. Or i snipe some with my sniper and then sneak in etc. My weapons are sniper shothun revolver. I take so much dmg though its not easy tbh. At least not like how it happens in the video.
@@FD-mz1id It's not that weird. When you examine the skill trees, you will see that a lot of the really useful passive talents, especially of the damage reduction/cheat death type, are available at 18 points. I'd say it's more valuable to get two stats to 18 than 1 to 20. Then there's the cyberware restrictions for the best available option, which is mostly at 16 points. Next on the list is skill checks. For pretty much all the dialogue-/story-relevant choices, the maximum necessary level is 12 points. You may fail at some skill-checked doors, but those, to the best of my knowledge, do not prevent you from reaching any relevant points. So, balancing a build between several stats instead of maxing out one or two generally makes for more flexible and robust gameplay, especially for people like me who are not that good at fast, reflex-heavy gameplay. Piecing together a lot of synergizing perks gives lots of passive abilities, which always help, whereas the 20+ perks tend to need a player good enough to make use of them.
If you enjoyed the vid, I’d really appreciate a sub! ❤️ Also i got similar montages if you’re interested 😎: ua-cam.com/video/S2_d1fi2Tg4/v-deo.html and the BUILD: ua-cam.com/video/-xjOKk-_3kI/v-deo.html Btw this mission is heeeeavily scripted so enemies can randomly detect you just because they feel like it (even more then they normally do lol) so it took a while to get this sequence right. I hope you enjoyed! ❤ PS. BIG thanks for @Celestael for the idea for this vid! cheers choom 😎
This was beautiful. I'm honestly aghast that the doors had the audacity to remain closed, waiting for you to manually open them. With that level of hacking prowess, every system in the complex should have bowed before you, with doors parting as you approached haha.
This is why a netrunner would make a terrifying and formidable villain in the cyberpunk universe. Being able to kill you with a look and turn your augments into a weakness along with a staggering intellect. Scary
I love this. V calmly approaches the Target locations. The people are not an issue for her, nor is the tech. It's the physical location that is the only significance. Many of the drones to the Corps die for their choice tonight, nothing will stop this from being done. Nothing they could muster on short notice at least. V strolls to the location of the Float. Here she uploads the Daemon she got from the corpo accomplice, she waits undetected, they need to be alive to detect you after all. While the bigger fish aren't paying attention. The virus is uploaded. Time to leave. Time for a drink. "Not bad for a petty merc off the streets." Fuck you Johnny.
That should be called the Creeping Death build. Seriously. Since I saw you do it, that's how I've been playing it. I think it's fun as hell. And kinda intimidating if you think about it.
I'm more of a Netwatch Netdriver guy, but it's neat to see this one in action. It probably says something about me that this never got old, I never got tired of just gliding through combat scenarios as if the enemies weren't there.
Netwatch Netdriver is amazing too. With boost to combat scripts and especially with the boost to chain-hack range - it becomes really strong with legendary Contagion and 20 Cool and Reflex for max crit chance and strength. You press one button - and 7 people start coughing, to collapse shortly after. Their body will be able to clear out the toxins, eventually. These people won't die just yet. Not without your permission to die. Now they lie on the ground - nauseated, almost blind, helpless, some of them already lost consciousness. They are of no concern to you. The only reason why they are alive is because you don't have a good reason to wish them dead. But when you do - the only thing that's left for a doctor is to declare patient's death, and go to smoke a sig, to forget a smell of scrambled, burnt brains
I hope a mod comes out that’ll make netrunning like this again. It’s a fun power fantasy playstyle when you walk through gigs making all the enemies kill themselves on the way to the objective. Maybe a mod that makes suicide cost less to cast because there’s a cyberdeck that’s spreads hacks and then use memory wipe or sonic scramble before you use suicide.
Dude, CDPR should just hire you for gameplay trailers. Seriously, this is why I am waiitng for a new game+ mode before going on a second playthrough. I want to able to play the whole game as a max level NetRunner. Edit. I hope your channel grows. We need stuff like this to bring positivity to the game, hopefully by the time new story DLC arrives people will know this was just an unpolished gem.
That's always been the way CDPR works, people never got this, it actually amuses me. CDPR defines their projects not at release, but in the unending support they work on throughout the game's life time. Unlike 98% of the industry. I just really hope they don't shit out on the DLCs and that they continue to show the game development world what it is they're supposed to be doing.
@@bishopvida That didn't age well, with CDPR recently announcing they've canned all but 1 DLC... *sigh*. Can only hope the unprecedented revival Edgerunners gave it will make them change their minds.
I just imagine Legendary Netrunner this good just walk into Arasaka, with hands in pocket, listening to music, eyes glowing red from all the quickhacks and everyone just dropping, killing themselves, when someone sees it from afar and tries to shoot, the weapon glitches and explodes on their face, someone tries to rush in with Sandevistan, they drop as they overheat, all cameras and drones shut down, the turrets go against them, someone tries to call for backup, nobody hears them, their closest friends going crazy and starts attacking them. Those who are lucky enough to only get knocked out will have PTSD for the rest of their lives. Total nightmare for the soldiers.

Wow, man! Very inspiring! I'm actually at that exact same spot and came back to this video to view the way you did it because I was so excited try the same thing for myself. It's shocking to me how much hacking has trivialized the game for me up to this point even on the hardest difficulty.
Thank you for following up on this and making another badass walk! I hope you can do one on the secret ending eventually, I missed a dialogue option for it on my character and have to go back from an old save quite a ways.
Ayo bro thanks for the idea for this one! I just mentioned you in the comment for this vid rn coz i forgot to do so before 😅 It’s also another great one to bring rippler for the secret ending but it’s quite a long sequence so I’ll have to think on how to make a vid outta that 😁 thanks again! ❤️
Holy shit this is absolutely amazing. Legit better than any combat, the idea and atmosphere of a monster of data who can just look at you and render you dead by your own hands is incredible. A legend walks into a hardened military base. Minutes later they walk out. Every man and woman is dead, one shot fired at their temples, forced to kill themselves in a moment of unstoppable horror. How absolutely fucking terrifying. I love it man.
These videos have actually inspired me to start a 20 int/cool run. I tried to do a spread on my first run and found quickhacks to be too damn fun. Could you do a body, tech, or reflexes vid? There's gotta be a way each attribute is awesome in its own respect.
If you add in reflex with your netrunner then you could add a monowire and of course optical camo. Quite a few legendary quick hacks can be triggered by your monowire and it is devastating. It was fun to do the beat on the brat missions...and 1 shot every opponent with 3 body, punching them with a ganic fist, xD
I happened on the Rippler fairly early on, and even thought my Int level is much lower than 20, it's almost unfair how much I can do with it. Basically it's like a medium-range sniper weapon you can use, often without being detected. My next play-through will be heavy on the tech, light on the guns so I may find myself re-enacting this. Too much fun!
Imagine how horrifying it looked to security guys: Stranger walks in and then everyone around just start shooting them self. After that you lose control of your own body, your arm points gun at the head and the last thing you see it’s cold eyes of stranger looking at your hopeless panic.
Guys, I know that there are a lot of clothing mods, but I am playing on Xbox Series X and can’t put up many mods in there. I was talking about official ones.
This is how I played my playthrough as the game came out. It's crazy how much damage you can do, you're completely capable of just wrecking entire compounds.
Nothing gets me more than the full attribute trees. Cool, Body, and Intelligence are amazing at 20. I'm doing my 2nd stealth playthrough since the release and my first since the attribute tree update. Knife throwing is 👌🏻
Plus, being 12 Intelligence and having legendary quickhacks and being able to use them is amazing. Suicide, cyberpsychosis, and reset system are my favourites.
Amazing to watch. And also a prime example of an issue the tabletop game’s devs will have if they ever make a 2077-era sourcebook for Cyberpunk Red - the tabletop game (to my knowledge, I haven’t read 2020 in a fair while) didn’t have quickhacks (they’re not in Red and I assume that’s because they haven’t been invented yet - Red’s set in 2045) and the one on display here would be one of the harder ones to balance so that the player who made a net runner isn’t stealing the show from the other players.

Again, another example of why in the game lore of Cyberpunk, elite-level Netrunners are so god damn scary. The ability to wreak wholesale havoc without so much as lifting a finger is terrifying.
That V just pulled a Major ghost in the shell.
😎
One reason I refused to cross Netwatch.
Lift a finger nothing, she didn't even move her arms to climb that ladder
"Not bad for a petty merc of the streets"
Dude, this was godlike. A force of biomechanical nature that just happened to pass by those unfortunate enough to be in it's path.
Magnificent.
The Power Level of V ingame was never represented in the story at all. One of the worst things in the game is the amount of Ludonarrative dissonance. It's off the charts.

This is a new breed of netrunner, which Alt, T-bug, and Spider should fear
I love how in this game some builds can just literally turn V into a force of entropy, she's just the angel of death in this video.
Vi, it worked! The monkey bomb worked!
@@ethanpfannkuch5510 Lol, imagine a high level character just sounding bored after all that. Like it's just a chore for them, like picking up milk at the store.

@@ShardtheWolf They did in the anime. Hope the new update will bring them in the game.

On a new build I tried gunning it down but then I remembered I had Body to the max and went in close instead. After the noise I got the Takemura line and was just... yeah that /was/ awesomely mad, Goro, thanks

Lol
fists + quickhacks was pretty fun though. and honestly whats the point of replacing 3/4 of your body with tech if it isn't overpowered?^^
Takemura: "You're an easy target when you step out!"
This version of V: "Don't care, didn't ask, heads explode."

There is something demonic and bad ass about the music and and just walking through casually makes this so godly

Those who are lucky enough to only get knocked out will have PTSD for the rest of their lives.
Total nightmare for the soldiers.
"You see, terrible chaos!” - when you play it like that it's like he's trying to goad you away from murderizing everyone.
This is the kind of glorious power fantasy 2.0 stole from us. I don't care whether it was balanced or not, letting us become a digital grim reaper was amazing.
That was fucking awesome. The vibes this video gave me are when Lelouch from COde geass woudl walk in and all enemies off themselves without him lifting a finger.
I rewatch the video from time to time, it's just that good. I have a similar build and I have to say, netrunner is my favorite playstyle in CP2077, nothing comes even close.
I never even considered playing the game this way I only ever used pistols or blade weapons, yet this looks much cooler
It makes it very easy, of course play it any way you want.
This got me hella excited!! 😁 As someone who loves doing alit without lifting a muscle, this gives me goosebumps
Had a similar build with system overload and moments like these made me fell like the king of NC
@@Falcmaan You are very welcome, my pleasure! Btw, what are those amazing arms? Is that modded or in-game?
Yep, it’s a mod replacing gorilla arms called ”Cyberkitch Cyberarms” - you can get it on nexusmods.com 😎
@@Falcmaan ahh ty!
Pretty cool if there was a cinematic like this. Just V walking while everyone's head is exploding, bots malfunctioning and guns breaking
These vids keep getting better and better
I’m glad you enjoyed it bro! And yes, more skill trees related vids are on the way 😎
If you add in reflex with your netrunner then you could add a monowire and of course optical camo. Quite a few legendary quick hacks can be triggered by your monowire and it is devastating. It was fun to do the beat on the brat missions...and 1 shot every opponent with 3 body, punching them with a ganic fist, xD
This is how I felt playing netrunner my first time. I refused to use anything else and treated everything like a casual stroll trough the park.
Imagine how horrifying it looked to security guys:
Stranger walks in and then everyone around just start shooting them self. After that you lose control of your own body, your arm points gun at the head and the last thing you see it’s cold eyes of stranger looking at your hopeless panic.
Too bad we don’t have any hoods within the game. Would make a cool street net runner costume :/
There are headscarves which are pretty hood-like
You can use Wraith hood mod, if you want the hood appearance
I think (I may be wrong) theres a couple clothing mods for hoods.
Guys, I know that there are a lot of clothing mods, but I am playing on Xbox Series X and can’t put up many mods in there. I was talking about official ones.
@Molecule Mind I had One X as well and CP2077 ran there not smoothly but it was fine. Didn’t even had many bugs as now I do after patch 1.5
@@viknightingale552 You can use legendary quickhacks at any level of intelligence im pretty sure
Nothing I have seen any content creator put out in CP 2077 has been as impressive....../standing ovation!
- V, the roof is you way out
- I'm not trapped in here with them. They're trapped in here with me
Would love to see how many quick hack buffs you were able to squeeze into the clown suit you undoubtedly had to make for this.
It's all in the talent trees bro, rest is the cyberware (in the description) and tetratronic rippler is the key factor for this to work 😉
@@Falcmaan Awesome, just thought that quick hack cool down was ridiculously quick, even for tetratronic
@@Falcmaan theres a bunch of buff where you get ram back for kills. So hes probably running at full ram this whole sequence. Coupled with reduced ram cost = can do this all day 😈
@@Falcmaan does forget me not work with suicide
@@Unidud3 I’m pretty sure it does 😎
ive seen the other level 20 etc videos and this one is by far the most badass and intimidating. this is some OP anime antagonist shit the way you just casually walk in and just start influencing everone to just start offing themselves. gonna have to try this
2.0 basically killed this gameplay. RIP op netrunner builds.
What happend how was it nerfed
@@imrunningoutofnames2413Made it harder to get infinite RAM I guess
so this is how it feels to be Lelouch from Code Geass, this is so badass and terrifying to have so much power
I have a 20 int character and easily removed all but my most necessary hacking perks in favour of annihilation ones, so that when I get to the final mission I can gun people down texas style whilst hacking up a storm. Still one shotting people with my hacks, just goes to show the power of The Rippler.
Jesus...that was some Elfen Lied-level shit. Just casually sauntering through, and laying waste with minimal effort.
...I think you succeeded in what CDPR couldn't. You actually made me want to play Cyberpunk.
Damn, I want a Cyberpunk movie where this character is the villain. They just walk in and fuck shit up with less effort than Darth Vader
If this was shot in third person, it would look like it was straight out of an anime! Awesome work man.
Am currently running the same. there's more to a build than the Attributes and cyberdeck. A shot of your cyberware screen is also recommended.
P.S. Great Vid :)
What is there to screen shot?
He said he maxed out intelligence trees, cold blooded tree and put some points into ninjitsu. Left over points into body and reflex stuff.
Basically only leaves me to imagine what he picked for ninjitsu... Probably some kind of stealth stuff. Less likely to get noticed.
Use your imagination choom.
@@themarlboromandalorian This game is all about progression trees "CHOOM" each build has a specific combination of gear, att points, perks, rewards etc. "Probably some kind of stealth stuff"
JESUS. This is easily the most terrifying version of V imaginable. Not one finger lifted, not one gun pointed, not one alarm raised, not a single drop of sweat or adrenaline and not one single FUCK given. Just an evening stroll as the plebs sacrifice themselves. Fuck.
This is quite literally a walkthrough! Love it haha
Takamura:V the roof that’s your way out
V:*having a little nightmare six moment*
Sadly, you cannot play a pure stealth netrunner build anymore after installing patch 2.0. My heart is broken😭
So this is why arasaka was so desperately hunting Alt Cunningham and Lucy so much...
This is maddening. Absolute Crazy.
This is the power of a fully equipped NetRunner. Jesus truly daemonic lmao
