- A table top review of the Yeoman by Victorinox.
The Victorinox Scientist is a 91mm, 3 Layer knife that includes the combo opener tool as well as the magnifying glass. The Yeoman features standard red cellidor plus scales, has a multitude of variation and carried a US model # of 54791.
The Yeoman has a very useful tool set, similar to the Victorinox Explorer, but providing the same functionality in 3 Layers instead of 4.

I just love how you describe every tool with their dates of implementation! Great!!! 👏👏👏
Thanks. I'm not an expert and the dates are often iffy but, it's neat to see the difference between models and date ranges.
I very much like my Yeoman. Bought it used and have replaced the scales with translucent blue Plus scales.
Very good tool!
Absolutely! Thanks for watching and sharing.
I would have guessed that the combi tool was a much later addition. I didn't know it's been around that long.
I was surprised too. Tool Evolution can be confusing but I use SAAMs 91mm tool evolution as my guide.
Thanks for the view and comment.
Yeoman /ˈjoʊmən/ is a noun originally referring either to one who owns and cultivates land or to the middle ranks of servants in an English royal or noble household. The term was first documented in mid-14th-century England.

Interesting... thanks for the information.
One of mys favs.
It's a very nice model. Thanks for the view and support.
I just got a custom made one. It is a great SAK! Equivalent of an Explorer, but in 3 layers, just losing the reamer/awl.
Fantastic! I hope it serves you well. Thanks for watching.
Happy Sunday Stewie, thanks for the new review, as always you do great reviews!
Steve, thanks for the accolades. I'm not an expert by any means but it's kind of fun.
@@Stewart0494 you are expert enough to give a good video presentation of interesting & often very rare SAKs
Great. I love the list of related models in the end of your review.
Thanks for the view and comment. Lots of videos on UA-cam and let's face it that I'm boring. Lol it was my way of being different.
@@Stewart0494 Don't compare yourself too much with the others. As long as you don't need to make your living with your videos you don't need to be the best. You're not boring just very calm and I like that.
Wish I could find one of these
Thanks for the view and comment
I’ll just go with the explore plus.
Also a great option. Thanks for the view and comment
Beautiful knife 😊
Yes it is. Thanks for watching.
such a cool model i wonder why they don't make it anymore.
I agree that it is a neat model. Thanks for the view and comment.
Why not have the nail file on every hook? Some things they do are just baffling. (Probably because they want to sell more high priced compacts, but still, it's annoying).
Did the Yeoman come with plus scales?
I don't believe so but I could be wrong. Thanks for the view and comment.
