My dearest Greek friends, face with your history that you were as well as we Turks were Ottomans. We share a great history and culture. Fantastic piece of music for the right soul. Enjoy.

There are 2 types of Orthodoxes from Black Sea region (Turkey, Crimea, Caucasus): 1) Turkic speaking Urums and Karamanlides; 2) Greek speaking Romeas. Modern Greece denies the Turkish origin of turkic speaking Christians, even if their Turkish had no influence of Ancient and Neo-Hellenic languages.

you should stop with politics. i even could start talking about cruel greek soldiers in western turkey. but i don t because it s past. look forward as good neigbours and not as enemys.

I thought I would find messages of friendship here in the comments, but instead I find possessive racist and horrible insults. Shame on all of you.

And Greeks were created in Asia Minor right? every nation came from somewhere. My comment does not justify Ottoman politics of the era. cities and areas had changed people many times in the history.

im not a refugee...but more importantly Smyrna was the ENVY of Beirut and the rest of the middle east.. i agree it did have a diverse, heterogenous makeup(Predominately Greek) sadly nationalism, fascism, fear of Hellenism...ruined the city and most of Western Anatolia..these cities are a mere shadow of what they were...
    PEACE..........
