Pen Boutique also carries the Write Notepads. The paper doesn’t feel to me as if it works be friendly to fountain pens, but it always is. I might give those illegal pads as a gift to a graduate. I don’t think I’d buy them for myself. I’ll be interested to see your second take on those.
Yeah, the Write paper is surprisingly good. It feels like it should only be okay, but it's actually very nice. I'll force myself to use the illegal pads and get them in a second takes in the future.
The Blackwing legal pads are expensive, but so are some of us have side-bound notebooks that are more expensive compared to other notebooks that cost a fraction. Heck A4 Rhodia pads are more expensive than the Blackwing.
As a public defender, there is no way at all I’m bringing a $10 legal pad into the courtroom. I do love the Midori Block and that undated Write planner.
Sharpies are alcohol-based, which will bleed through just about everything. Even in the bujo community, where they're using 160GSM paper, they recommend against anything alcohol-based.
Probably? I could see you breaking up the columns into time-blocks or something like that. I do something similar in mine during the school semesters to keep my classes in order and remind myself what I need to grade/prep for each day.
I don't carry it back and forth, but I do carry the same size in a horizontal pad back and forth. It's smaller than the USA letter-sized notebooks, so not that bad. This one usually stays at home, though. (I work from home a lot.)
Thanks for the shout! Glad you’re enjoying your paper!
You bet!
Joe is such a nice guy. I will give his site a lookyloo and see what I don't need but just HAVE to have LOL
Always worth a look!
Those midori notepads are my go to these days! I tear the big block in half and they are way more approachable.
That would make it easier to write on. I'd miss the hard bottom, though, I think?

Nice papers. I dont think i could pay that for the legal pads but who knows they do look really sharp.
Yeah, same. I wouldn't buy them casually, either, but they are fancy and the paper is nice.

I dunno. I see A4 rhodia for $10-15 and they're 80 so they're less expensive. Not a whole lot less expensive, I guess, but 12-18 cents per page.

Right? I wonder if there are top-price firms that just stock these as regular office supplies?

Oh yeah, for sure. Very few things stand up to Sharpie. It's more a matter of HOW hard they bleed through.
Question about the Write Notepad Weekly Planner: I'm a middle school science teacher...do you think that weekly planner could work for me?
Probably? I could see you breaking up the columns into time-blocks or something like that. I do something similar in mine during the school semesters to keep my classes in order and remind myself what I need to grade/prep for each day.
Do you carry the Write weekly back and forth from work and home? Don’t mind the size?
I don't carry it back and forth, but I do carry the same size in a horizontal pad back and forth. It's smaller than the USA letter-sized notebooks, so not that bad. This one usually stays at home, though. (I work from home a lot.)
