    Hi IVO . . . . I personally want to thank you for showing your videos to all us subscribers during these troubling times
    of the virus as many if not all of us are unable to venture out in the great outdoors to go fishing and being cooped up
    once AGAIN as well had done during the winter months just waiting for the warmer weather so start but as I said now
    this virus has put a damper on us to enjoy being outside be it fishing / talking walks etc. keep your videos coming
    because we all do need for you to keep us from going NUTS and to sit back enjoying your wonderful videos as they are
    worth watching .
    Thank You

    "..between a good day and a great day." I love that positivism! Keep it going.

    Simple common sense tips Ivo but every time I watch one of your videos I pick-up something helpful and/or hear an answer to a question I had been wondering about. Thank you for helping even an old-timer like me.

    Thanks Ivo! Another great video! I'm new to this boatless angling as you've put it, haven't hit a thing at all this spring except for all of those snags at the bottom of the Niagara...even lost my brand new stingnose that came last week! But like you said, it's either a good day or a great day when you get out to fish, landing one, coming up empty, or even losing a brand new lure! Thanks again, tight lines!

    Hey Ivo: Leader length is a debatable subject, but I do prefer to have it shorter than my rod; that way, it is literally never coiled onto my reel, so I don't suffer from line memory. For longer leaders, I would suggest using size 3000 reels to avoid the smaller spool diameters.

    Love your Videos. Can you please make a video on how to detect a bite when using lures.

    Ivo, thank you for another great video with good tips. I always wanted to ask you, what type of anchor do you use on the upper Niagara? I have a claw anchor, but that may not be the right one for the upper Niagara.

      I actually use the spot lock feature on my electric motor, but when anchoring in the upper Niagara, the key is to anchor in shallow water and you will hold :)

    Hi Ivo, what is ur favourite brand of rod and reel tackle? and why? thx..

    • @thundermistlures
      @thundermistlures  4 роки тому +1

      I do not really have a favorite, as I use a variety of rods and reels - the keys are the features - these may help: ua-cam.com/video/2QEz6ECaBSo/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/5z5LwJS3G0o/v-deo.html

    I ice fish (jig) with strait braided line, no mono or fluorocarbon line, caught hundreds of fish last winter, great sensitivity.
