The Fiat 600e is a cute, compact family crossover - the all-electric successor to the 500X and a more spacious big brother for the 500e. It shares most of its hardware and powertrain with the Jeep Avenger, is well equipped and competitively priced. We also love that it’s genuinely quite small; it’s in between a VW Polo and VW Golf in length.
The Fiat 600e has a 54kWh lithium-ion battery, with a usable capacity (the amount that you’re actually charging and discharging) of 51kWh. That’s good for a range of up to 254 miles in the cheaper 600e (RED) model, or 252 miles in the La Prima, and in our summer test drive through a variety of faster country roads and slow town stuff, we managed a real-world figure of 220 miles, which is only a fraction less than you get in an MG4 Long Range or VW ID.3.
Join Nicola as she puts the new 600e through its paces in its native Italy. Is is a worthy stablemate to the brilliant 500e? Would you choose the 500e over its rivals? If you love it or loathe it, let us know in the comments below.

Not sure why your quotient Hyundai Kona in the script as the small battery version only has a 39kw not like the Fiat’s 54kw battery, if you compare the 64kw Kona it has at least 50miles more on the Fiat 600. If your trying to impress us with this car you need to compare like for like otherwise it will seem like you are being paid by the fiat group to give a favourable review.

The lip synch seemed out but restarted it & all good - I think the headlights look like they’re winking - I think it looks better than the avenger - 5 miles/kWh is incredibly good - personally I think with all stellantis they’re great used buys but very expansive new purchases and not the best value for the private buyer

Love the car. “Reasonably priced” no. I think European car manufacturers hear journalists say “reasonably priced” and then say to themselves “we got away it” . Sorry but prices have got to come down. I think the EU are now grumbling that Chinese EV are too cheap. What’s up with everyone, us consumers want the prices to come down. By the way I love my Zoe EV. And one day will replace it but not until new EV’s come down in price.

Stellantis are turning into one of the grocery brands like Unilever where they make the same product but call it something different? Ok maybe not quite the same product as they look different on the outside but to all intents and purpose the same lol.
The 600 does look quite cute though.
I do find it interesting that companies make city cars that are not really that good at longer journeys where people maybe need to take loads of suff.

I was looking forward to this review. I've always liked Fiats, they have character and are fun. The 500e is unfortunately just too small for my needs, so when I learned of this 600e, I was very hopeful that it could be truly great. You can imagine how disappointed I was to hear how awful the steering is then. That's killed it for me. How can over light steering be easier to drive? It would be like driving a video game, something I've never managed as I lack whatever it takes to guess what the car is doing without feedback. Why shouldn't the Fiat have an engine? An electric machine is also a motor (but also a generator) - the difference lies in the direction of energy conversion: In the generator, the rotor is driven mechanically and thereby generates electrical energy in the windings of the stator. With a motor, the same machine is supplied with electrical energy and thereby generates mechanical energy.
I like the 600 and I don't need 70 or 100 kWh batteries in the car. Visually, I haven't found a Chinese manufacturer that I like - except for the Seal from BYD, which is not a desirable car for me, I need more ground clearance every day (often on dirt roads, etc.). That's why I would like the 600 more, and the great paint palette is also a point - because color in life is more important than gray on gray!

Really no difference from my Citroën E-C4... The Shine Plus was nearly £35,000 .... Yet now you can easily buy it for less than £30,000!! The same will happen to the Jeep Adventure, Vauxhall Astra, Fiat 600.... They will get discounted. At the discounted price they are a KNOWN BRAND not an unknown Chinese brand. So I think they will sell well.

My E-C4 was £35k and is 2022... now also £20k... however fortunately for me , I didn't buy it..... I leased it... So I haven't lost 15k in 15 months. These Stellantis cars are dropping because they are overpriced at the start, then discounted later, plus are NOT Ground Up BEVs but petrol cars with batteries put into the gaps. However, British consumers will continue enjoying the affordability of Chinese EV, since the UK is not in the EU anymore. At least one benefit of brexit.
