Yes. I saw another tutorial where they stripped the wire first. I was looking for one that the beads fit without stripping also. The bead size doesn't matter, it's the size of the hole.

This is the second beaded roach clip tutorial I've watched where you can't see what was done to the end of the clip.
i put super glue at the end of the clip and put a bead over it and let it dry for 50 secs..
