Hello Mr. Future Knight, I have to salute you sir 🫡 for showing off the deck at such a beautiful high rarity and for the really awesome list. I have always enjoyed your BA and Labrynth lists and listening to your in-depth breakdown on the reasoning for certain card choices/theory/techs is really enjoyable! I had a few questions about your perspective/thoughts on the deck and your overall tournament experience if that’s okay! Out of curiosity are there any reasons why you chose not to run pot cards such as duality/extrav/prosp and instead opted for just the 1 demise? I know prosp can be a bit weird at times with the math cannon, but even just revealing 3 cards to keep math alive feels worth it for the extra consistency and breaking the math by revealing 6 cards can still be worth it in certain matchups where it’s dead…such as locally where it’s difficult to resolve because everyone seems to only play tenpai and mimighoul 😅 Also are there any traps you would play in the future or missed in the deck, such as torrential, punishment, or skill drain and did you miss the protection offered by the runick quick-play spells for duster/lightning storm? Additionally, how was arias for you during the event, did you find playing just one trap off her effect on your opponent’s turn was enough to end it or ruin their board? And did you have any issues resolving her/playing her on your opponent’s turn against cards like shifter, bystials, and tactics/thrust? Keep up the great work man, oh and by the way your sausage doggo is so cute 🐶
Sorry for the late response! Definitely would consider playing Prosperity for the benefits you mentioned, but I'm also not playing it because of the negatives you mentioned. The ratios for the deck currently feel great. The third Math Canon being a free interchangeable card in the list is also nifty. I do like the runicks, but 9/10 would prefer even the most simple removal trap (they can't always draw Lightning Storm and Harpies, even though they do). I do, however, like the Runicks for some niche extra deck plays, but only having that 1 extra deck spot doesn't give the dual benefit I'd like. I always miss Dogmatika Punishment. I think it might be one of the best removal traps in the game, but Math Canon just does more. I don't like Torrential at all because often it feels like it can stunt my own advantage. Arias is entirely a preference/ bias thing. Sometimes, she's low impact, setting a compulse, but other times she can set a Barrier or a Karma Canon and literally skip entire turns. In reality, shifter/sphere mode might be better. Thanks again for watching!
Thank you so much for your in-depth response, I really appreciate hearing your insightful perspective on the deck! It has given me a lot to think about for deck building as I’m also iffy on certain traps and the runick cards…but you’re right they can’t always have back row removal 😅 Yeah you’re absolutely right, picking between arias, shifter, or sphere mode in the main is preference based and probably depends a lot on the decks you expect to face/way you want to play the deck! The cool thing about labrynth is how it is able to adapt, interact, and be built in different ways to counter the best decks! Thanks again for your feedback and I’m excited to see more labrynth content from you in the future 👀
