      which single ball bearing are you reffering to?

      @@dailyhandsdiy I opened a starter motor completely same as you showed in your video.. I also opened solenoid switch.. A single small steel ball which is used in ball bearing was dropped. I don't know it was dropped from starter motor or solenoid switch. Now I am confused where I should put this single ball.

    What is the reason for bendix failure in car? Is there any milege for self motor??

    • @dailyhandsdiy
      @dailyhandsdiy  2 роки тому

      Nop there's nothing related to mileage, ppl who keep the car more time on starting position after the engine is ON used to result in early bendix drive failures.

      @@dailyhandsdiy ❤️oh after engine on and wringly pushing key is the major point of bendix failures?

    • @dailyhandsdiy
      @dailyhandsdiy  2 роки тому

      Yup, also some people wont let go of the key even after the engine starts running...so the starter motor is kept engaged for some seconds and the bendix drive takes all the wear..till they let go of the key.

      Tq bro... take the door panel off and you find the thim wire with joints and bends going from lever to lock mechanism, jst find if some how the puller wire poped out of its socket. or rust.

      Hi Fieata uses different make motor, almost construction is same but different type of brush is used. This motor is used to crank the engine before start.

    Hi bro, hope u r doing good and keep up the good work...there is a problem with acr starter motor..it cold starts fine but when I try to stop and start after a drive say 25 to 30kms, it doesn't crank and a click sound is heard. If I start the car after 20 to 25mins, it starts fine. Problem is with starter motor only, as replacing another motor for trial didn't give any such issues. Please let me know which part in starter motor is creating this problem. Thank u for sharing your knowledge.

    • @dailyhandsdiy
      @dailyhandsdiy  3 роки тому +3

      hi bro, here the issue could be in different parts, first on solenoid when becomes hot doest not make proper contact to motor brush. second the armature, if the armatre is going out, the heat could make the armature work badly not making any mag field. So these two are the main components inside motor which could fail and give that symptoms. Here I guess solenoid will be the cause.

    My starter motor is struggling to spin.even battery is full. Battery terminal wires are getting hot. There is a also loud screeching sound coming from engine bay or self motor not sure.

    • @dailyhandsdiy
      @dailyhandsdiy  7 місяців тому

      Do check the wires for internal corrosion. Other reasons are, bad solenoid contacts, bad starter contact brushes, dried up reduction gears. screeching noise could be bendix going bad or solenoid spark...
