Now it's called a magnetic field. Older days they called it witchcraft then would throw you into a river to drown.
I totally agree Rachel Nguyen
that's correct.
Nice 👍
or burnt by fireworks
It's absolutely not the magnet that keep the nuts balanced
Adrian, I'm pretty sure that was sarcasm. Ever heard of it? XD
I'm pretty sure it was the soda cans that pushed it all together somehow...
I'm pretty sure it's aliens
It's Illuminati
I think it is the force from the magnet that held the nuts together.
I WANT A NEW VIDEO!!
What is keeping the nuts balanced is the magnetic force in the nuts, when Steve connected the nuts to the magnets, the magnetic force in the magnets was put in the nuts. When he de-attached the nutes from the magnets, there was a slight magnetic force in the nuts which was holding the nuts together in the tower. He balances them on the glass, the force from the magnets was strong enough to bond with the force in the nuts, allowing them to stay together
Obviously it's the wooden ruler
Black Magic is my guess
Chris Popov nope man its clearly the wooden ruler
@@claclaclac1 I'm sure it's is hand
The magnet's pull gives them enough support to stay upright.
now that's a nice party trick...
Exploding lightbulb
Magnetic field created by the magnets holds them upright while the glass serves as a base.
It is the power between the magnet and the glass.
Magnetism pass through the wooden ruler as it is non-magnetic.The magnets attracted the hex nuts as it is magnetic in order to keep it balance but it need a supporter to support it.
About illusion: What used to say your intuition - you distinctly remember only when your last illusion disappears ;)
Great video! as always
The magnet turns the nuts to an temporary magnet so the nuts attracts to each other and the magnet does a little part to keep it balanced
This experiment is......................SO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the hex nuts are still in the magnet's magnetic field allowing them to stay still and perfectly straight
faint signal from the magnet
I dunno why but I love the song so much
As u see, the hex nuts are attaching to the magnet by means of attraction when its apart it have still attraction
It makes students think!
The magnetic field of the magnets
Derp
The opposing force of gravity is not pushing enough in any direction when you think of its vector components, thus the glass is making it stay upright because the magnetic pull is slightly weaker than the gravity force, makin the z-component weak enough for the opposing force of gravity to turn almost to zero, making all the components of it also very close to zero..
Sry for bad english, but the best explanation i could make up, considering i have 3rd grade high school physics..
Magnetic field by the magnet induces magnetism on nuts and makes it balanced
The balance between center of gravity and magntic force
*What the video doesnt show is that when the nuts fell, it cracked the glass ultimately killing the guy (Higgins?) and that is why there are no more videos ever since*
Neat party trick
Power of THE magnets
I miss these
It's staying up by the magnetic field of the magnet
The nuts still reacts with the magnet when lowered without the magnet they will fall
Some call it a magnetic field, others refer to it as plain witchcraft!! =)
and people in the 1700s call it burn from firework time
the magnet helps the hex nuts
It's the magnet of coarse
Space aliens. From space.
The magnetism
The magnetic field of the magnets are strong enough the go through your hand
i know
both of them can have magnet
so tye magnet and the whatever it trys to go up but the cup is hokding it strong
Why no more vids?
+Harsh Patel hes back!
Yayyyyyy
it's very useful ))
I think it's because the magnet, also the magnet works through skin.
the magnets cause it to stay balanced
2 words- ferromagnetic material
Its probably the glass. It might have a small groove in it to balance the nuts. and i think the tin cans are making it balanced because i am a sciencetist
Wow there is definitely no reason why the magnets are needed.
Of course its the glass
How strong/large do the magnets need to be?
The magnetic force!
this video rocks:)
I have this strong feeling that the nuts are glued together :P But it stays up because of the magnetic field?
Omg i love your videos
the magetism is pulling the bolts up while gravity is pulling down
Where's that Frollo Gif when you need it??!
The magnet. Duhhhhhhhhh!
Very good
WHAT HAPPENED TO SICK SCIENCE I LOVED THIS CHANNEL, POST MORE VIDEOS!!!!
The top hex nut is still in the range of the magnetic thing
I meant the magnetic field
Why did you stop posting your videos? this was poted on Feb 3 2015. 1 month passed so why did you stop?
Yes, what's the problem?
2 months passed away 。.. Are you sick with Sick science?
2 years later
can you make a video about how to make a galileo thermometer?
Where are the new videos this channel looked awesome
the
He's back.
proof that soda is good for your teeth. thanks sick science!
So today we're gonna make potato salad! - oops... i forgot my safety glasses
When are you gonna put out a new video?
Do an exploding lightbulb
MAGNETISM!
Magnetism and the magnetic fields
The Magnet
Obviously the magnets
It's cus the cup is holding them and it got mad when u took its magnet buddy away so it dropped the hexnuts
Maybe the nuts got magnetized with the magnet but when it was removed they demagnetized n fell
Hey Steve! Kitties Mama (Emma Jonah and Noah) sent me
I think it is because of the magnet
สุดยอดดด! เหยดดด very Creativity!
The
Magnet causes it because of the force (not Star Wars force)
awesome ..... can this experiment be repeated with iron nails
the magnet
The magnets
Why are you not making video's.I am your subscriber
I feel like it would be the magnet, but that would be too easy for such a video, right?
So i would go with the glass is magic.
the magnet duh
Thats so coooooollllll😍
the nuts stay balanced because of electro magnetic fields
You can do that using coins to make it more cooler
what coin is metal?????
All coins are metal. You should've asked what coins are magnetic Xd
i think first he magnetised the Hex nuts and then slowly pulled out from the magnet but the magnetic field is still around the magnets and the gravity is pulling the nuts from the other side. hence the force is balanced causing the nuts to float. I don't know the actual science its just a Guess.
correct!!
Ashers Coolest
Hey there...i need some videos on the topic alternative sources of energy for my daughter...she gonna do a science fair in her school....plzzz post some videos on energy....
Uhhh...It's DEFINITELY not the magnetic field!!! (sarcasm)
lol
How many glasses that you have
Magnets
The magnate
Sick Science has no more videos :'(
It is magnetic force
The magnets duh
did they stop uploading?
It's magnetic force
78 the
best of luck
Magnetic
THERE METAL
Will this work with a vodka can??
Why do you have no more videos
its magnets duh
Maybe magic?
Grant Thompson sent me.
