With regards to those villagers who really hate having a secure home and would rather venture into the middle of nowhere, I find that reloading the chunks with the villagers fixes it. Specifically, you need to reload the chunks by leaving the area and coming back. For some reason, going to the nether and coming back doesn't seem to work.
A word of advice: if you’re playing with the Spartan weaponry mod, DON’T MAKE A KATANA. Sabers are the same thing, but stronger. Also, from 1.16.5 onward, don’t waste materials on a halberd, especially if you plan on using a shield. It was severely nerfed, so a battle hammer does more damage and any weapon with Reach on it is better. And maces are pretty meh.

Catus walls are the best defense early game. Also, there needs to be a mod or vanilla to add an oasis sub biome to the desert biome. I'd love to see all the biomes livable without the need to visit another biome.
I love how there’s even Komodo dragon like lizards, it’s a nice touch, I can’t wait to see all the animals in this vid I think they were just crocs but even so that’s pretty cool

1.18 sure made things easier especially on skyblock, duplicate lava, turn stone into moss and moss to dirt. Moss is so great you can also get azelia trees simply by using bonemeal really good early game even in a desert without dirt or trees. You should look for a shipwreck asap!
Love the videos keep up the great work. I really hope you see this because it is very helpful information and nothing would make me happier than knowing I helped. So some tips 1.) For some of these tips you will have to craft a book from alexs mobs (type alex in JEI search to find a green book and how to craft it) 2.) I gotta be honest it hurt watching you walk past all the roadrunners knowing you can kill the for their feathers and made roadrunner boots that give you speed when walking on sand 3.) You can summon a boss in the end using a crimson mosquito larva (found in the nether) and a caspid (found in the end) to get a mysterious worm. Throw it into the void and after a few seconds the boss will spawn 3.) You can tame and ride elephants! You need acacia blossom that you get from acacia tree leafs 4.) The tornados that attack everything are called gusters and they can be killed to get a guster eye. You can use the guster eye to make a gust maker that will release gusts of wind to push items and mobs when powered! (With redstone of course) You can also use the guster eye to make a pocket of sand which is a ranged weapon that uses sand as a weapon! 5.) Tarantula hawks are the big blue bugs with orange wings flying around the desert. They paralyze spiders on sight! Thats why you saw a spider laying on its back. Your lucky you saw it because tarantula hawks burry the spiders they paralyze. They can be tamed using spider eyes and once tamed they will fight alongside you by stinging your foes. To breed them you will need fermented spider eyes but they will need a spider to be nearby so the tarantula hawk can lay its eggs inside of it. Eventually a grub will emerge from where the spider was buried and over time it will grow into another tamed tarantula hawk! But if you are not interated in taming tarantula hawks you can kill them to get their wings and then use them to upgrade your elytra into a tarantula hawk elytra!
You're so much better than me at staying alive and fighting smart; I would have died 50 times during all of this. But I learned a while back to hide a pair of villagers underground to protect them and also build a wall/fence around the village to protect it. (Mainly because I know I can't do a good job of fighting to protect them or myself; I need a safe place!)
I just thought of something, what if interested of the villagers paying you for their own crops, the villagers are paying you emeralds for just gathering it for you, like “hey, thanks for picking my carrots for me, have a emerald flr your hard work” A lot of people think the villagers are stupid for paying you for there own possessions but their just being nice, and if you trade them something that isn’t a crop that you found in their chest per say, they might be repaying you for finding the items they misplaced or lost Sweet villagers 💛
I’m pretty sure lightning storms are possible in deserts, don’t quote me on that, but it’d make sense that due to the heat, dryness, and all the dust that flies through the air that lightning would form from the friction

As someone who has a home in the desert (or well badlands but most of the villages I go to are in the desert as I live on the border between the two biomes) this was a treat
44:00 This is why you rebind your keys to not be the worst place. Y is for Yeet, Q is for Questionable placement because most of the default binds are bad
If you want zombies not to kill your village you could build a wall and throw some touches around the place that way you don't have to lock them underground or wall them off

The reason the rates went up is because when you tried to trap the villager in the sand pit, you hit them. so the rates for trades went up.
