Love it. Never gets old. Dany practiced her Hetfield mean face in the mirror all weekend before they recorded this one. There is a funny video of them reacting to this one. They hadn’t actually watched it in many years and they had a blast picking it apart. Thanks, These sisters are everything!
14, 12 and the little chica on the bass was 9. By the way, that's not even a full size bass. Still dwarfs her. These old videos hit me hard, because they were so good and tight at such an early age. But also because we know what all the years of hard work, focus, and latent talent will eventually produce... a power trio that are MONSTERS on stage.
From an early age, Dany’s face, Pau hitting her drums like they owe her money, Ale cool and calm, like walking in the park. They are still like that! And Ale’s stance at the end saying it all, “we killed it!” And recently someone paused the last shot of The Warning’s Enter Sandman at the Pepsi Center. There are again, Ale standing tall with a smirk on her face saying, “we killed it!”
Did you know? Ale was in 4th grade when she and her sisters made their first recordings..Yep.. I think that's what I heard... That's friggin Awesome.. 🌎🤘
(on the stance thing) Something i've noticed after watching hundreds of The Warning vids, all three sisters will accentuate parts with their left leg - a stomp, lift, tap, etc. Just a piece of trivia that i find endearing.❤
The thing I notice the most going back to this video is how 'into' it they were even then. They just get rock, they are having a blast, playing very well too, but above all it seems like they right vibes or energy I want to see in a Rock band nowadays. If you want some more evidence from back then, check out their cover of Kickstart My Heart from a few years later. Or their two Tedx talks (2016, 2017) which are excellent insights into who they are. If you want something shorter to watch just for fun, check out Ale's video doing part of Hysteria by herself in the Cave.
Love your reactions. The early days of greatness is so fun to watch, and there are even earlier versions of the girls doing covers, even younger than this. Love this video and they already Rock, Dany killing the vocals (Dany Face already) and the solo, Pau already a super skilled drummer at 12 and the littlest (at the time) Ale at 9 giving us a premonition of her phenomenal Bass skills. Thanks for supporting the Ladies of Rock. Cheers.
If you dig The Warning at such an early stage in their career then i ask you to check out their covers of Foo Fighters' The Pretender (official band video) and their live performance of Muse's Hysteria at the Liceo (also an official band video from their live performance - chose the video that shows a lot of Alejandra's playing).
These days Ale, not only has perfect pitch but is the metronome of The Warning . . If there is no click track or Pau or Dany stray in time ,Ale brings them back . . Often with just "the look" . Dany and Pau both acknowledge this saying how scary it is . . Ale also is the decision maker should there be a disagreement during writing or recording etc playing a big part in the sound of the Keep Me Fed album . 👍👋🇳🇿🍻twa
I enjoyed your comments. This video was my introduction to The Warning and I watch every reaction to it because it is still so much fun. Ale's sense of time amazes me.
@@mikeskates2502 2 of my favorite TW covers are "THE PRETENDER - FOO FIGHTERS COVER - THE WARNING - OUT OF THE BASEMENT" and "Atlas Rise - The Warning - Whisky a Go Go". Enjoy
Dany showing she can shred at 14 years old. She doesn't generally shred with their own music because it's not structured for solos, for the most part, therefore people think they leave out solos because she CAN'T shred... Yet, here she is at 14, killing it.
After this you should react to their Tedx performances. 2016 is their first, but you should definitely react to the 2017 Tedx. It’s a 3 song set and some commentary from them between songs. You will be blown away. It was this video that showed the world what an “animal” Pau was on the drums. She is mind blowing. That first song is crazy! You will love it. Ages are easy. Dany is whatever year it is, 24, Pau is 2 years younger and Ale 3 years younger than Pau, most of the year.
At the time they were doing covers to learn how to play together as a band, but they were also learning songwriting & arranging from Ale's bass teacher, who is their band mentor. Some of the self-written homework songs from those sessions ended up being published on an iTunes EP the next spring (to earn money to attend Berklee School of Music) and the rest formed the starting point for their first album released in 2017 (at ages 17, 15, 12). Pau is only 12 in this video but within two years she will begin filling songbooks with ideas that become their 2nd album (a rock concept album released in 2018) as well as the starting point for many of the songs on their 3rd and 4th albums.
Great réaction thanks 🙏. I’ve a request : you must see and react to the Tedx talk 2016 This video would help you understand the beginning of this group's journey Have a great day 🙏

Yeah, that's a 3/4 scale bass... a Fender Mustang. So funny how a small bass still looks HUGE on her at this age. lol :-)

@@rk3257 I love little facts like that, it's cool seeing musicians tendencies 🔥❤️🤘
Doing a cover and doing it well. Of course was about this age when she wrote "Revenant". Just let that sink in.
I think Dany’s stance is more related to being in a position to activate her pedal board.

only one of them is a teenager here. one of them isn't even 10 yet!
Funniest thing is that they weren't even all teenagers yet... just Dany was. ;-)

The Warning doesn't cover a song, they try to duplicate the song, and are almost perfect every time. Listen to any cover they have done. Just amazing.

This version by three young girls carries more emotion than the version done by four adult men.
Oh ya, Dany at 14 is taking the place of two grown men on her guitar, just epic.
Ey, amigo. Eso es de los comienzos. Un pre-Warming. Aquí es cuando comenzó todo. Alejandra tendría 9 años aquí.
