- I have finally binged the “Ducktales” reboot and it’s great! I definitely recommend it for anyone who enjoyed the original series and/or “Gravity Falls” and/or just likes an adventure-family story in general!
One of my favourite things about this show is Webby’s friendship with the triplets, especially Dewey. These two are so alike, which makes for some amusing moments. Hence, this video compilation. I stan this adorable and supportive friendship!

After a whole season solving the Della Duck mystery, it was just a matter of time for them to become best friends, Im sure Dewey is really grateful for what Webby did for him, and honestly, I cant imagine Webby being best friends with Huey or Louie, she would get sick of Huey not believing anything that is not in the JWG and not taking risks at all, and she would also get sick of Louie being lazy and selfish, but perhaps opposites attract. I also think Dewey is the only triplet who can stand Webby for long periods of time (taking in consideration how she can be too optimistic, hyperactive, loud and maybe even socially awkward) as Dewey shares ALL of this traits with her and can understand her pain when it comes to not fitting in (As in Webby not being a normal kid because of all those years in the mansion, and Dewey being the middle child and not knowing his place in the universe) and with the fact that they both share their love for adventures and mysterys, they are just the perfect pair. I love all their interactions, and with their color schemes and rather similar personalities, they could easily be confused for twins.
And now that I think about it, you can see how neither Huey nor Louie can be with Webby for long periods of time or else they’ll start fighting, with Huey and Webby in the terrafirmians episode, and Louie and Webby in the Toth-Ra episode and “the lost harp of Mervana”, they’ll start disagreeing leading them into a fight. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t friends at all, just that they don’t have what Dewey and Webby have and that’s fine.
It's already confirmed that she's closest to him out of all the triplets.
Yeah, but in the episode where Webby meets Lena, Huey was the one who offers the spot on the boat, and comforts Webby when she thought Lena left her.
They became close friends way before the mystery unravelled.

Scrooge: "I tried, but they really do enjoy harmonizing with each other."

I don’t ship them but still I absolutely love their friendship it’s too wholesome
I never ship characters who are 'on the same wavelength' as they say, because I like fictional relationships where they can compliment each other's weaknesses. Dewey and webby make good friends because they have a lot in common, but I don't think having a ton in common is great for shipping despite what some people think. I'd be good friends with, but I wouldn't want to date a girl who's very similar to me.

@@SuperIsaiah Platonic ships are a thing, though. You can still ship them, but it wouldn't be much of a traditional ship, more like a brotp. Two people who have so much chemistry with each other that they make much better friends/siblings than a couple. They're a fantastic duo, just not in the romantic sense.

Yeah I think people who ship them haven't seen how good relationships work irl. You may be good friends with someone who has a ton in common with you but you probably wouldn't be a good couple. Every good couple I know may have some interests in common but personality wise are often opposites. If a girl had the same strengths and weaknesses that I have then we wouldn't really make a good couple.

I believe the writers aren’t really looking to have any romantic stories with them. But then they write them with such an adorable chemistry and connection so why not. Granted I think I could actually see them harvesting romantic feelings around the time they’re 12 or 13 because during that point in time The younger generation grow interest in romance. Because when you’re a kid you don’t even care it’s only when you’re a preteen when that is on the mind.

Huey being a JWG nerd and Louie being Louie, Dewey definitely had trouble being the middle child and finding his place. With all that pent up energy and stamina, living with the careful Huey, lazy Louie, and overprotective uncle Donald in a boat with not much room to be active...
With Webby he found the twin sister he never thought he needed, or unconsciously wanted. If they weren't aunt-nephew, they'd definitely be twinsies.
But who's to say they're not😉 disregarding the fact of their bloodline, they're much twins of their own.

@@whatinthegoddamn2353 I had always hoped for either a time travel episode (like in the original series, even if there was something similar here) or after the last episode of the series, for an end credits where you would have found out that in the following months or years all characters has become. And there you could have found out that Webby and Dewey became a couple at some point. As well as Webby and Doofus Drake in the original series.
