So glad to see you again Mary! Lovely flosstube, your finishes are amazing, specially your Perfect World, what a triumph! It deserves the most beautiful frame. Hope you and your family have a heartwarming Thanksgiving and take care of yourself ❤
I'm so happy to see you again! I do so enjoy your videos! Your finishes are so lovely, well done with all of them!! All of your projects are so lovely and so varied! :-) I agree you should stitch whatever you like whenever you like and just have fun!
Wow, Mary! You inspire me with all those beautiful finishes and wips! I always see more to add to my wishlist haha! I am praying for you and your family. I totally relate with the hard days and the blues. Hang in there, we live a blessed life even when we are sad and worried. Sending you lots of love. ❤
Thank you so much Mary. Life does get hard at times but yes, we are blessed in so many ways. I need to remember to count my blessing more. Just watched your video last night. It was so good to see you. Sending lots of love. ❤️
Your finishes look nice. A lot can get done in six weeks. It all looks great. Autumn Town is looking good. I hope you all stat feeling better. Have a great week.
Your work is lovely and I didn’t realize that “This is The Day” had that goat (?) beastie top left so I’ll need to get that chart, it’s hilarious! I’ve done dozens of Mill Hill and will be starting the Jim Shore “Best Friend Santa” for a pal who has a similar-looking dog. Speaking of, I’m so sorry to hear about your poor doggie’s health issues, as well as your own. All my best that everything turns out well. ~Elizabeth ❤
Thank you Elizabeth! Yes, it is a goat at the top left of This Is The Day. Pretty funny! I am looking forward to stitching the Mill Hill Jim Shore ornaments. I hope I can finish them without too much trouble! Thank you for the kind words. Unfortunately my dog is back to throwing up again so lots more vet visits are in the near future. They gave her an anti nausea injection yesterday and that helps for a while. Thanks for watching and thanks so much for your lovely comment. Happy stitching! ❤️
Your stitching projects are fun to look at. Our vet bills are high for our little grumpy (mean) rescue dog over 9 years. It breaks my heart the damage my ex daughter-in-law (now deceased) her family and husband did to the relationship between my son and his son. He finally gave up after 17 years. No meds worked for hubby’s afib but a second ablation worked. I have periods of deep deep sadness which I’ll always have after the sudden death of my youngest son 3 1/2 years ago from unknown heart disease. My hubby and church family, stitching helps.
Linda, you are going through so much of the same. I am so sorry for the loss of your son. I can’t even imagine the pain. I don’t know why some women feel the need to try to destroy someones life, especially someone they once loved. It’s so hard to see. Faith, family and my stitching are what keeps me going. Thank you for your kind words. God bless. ❤️
Enjoyed spending time with you today, as always. Congratulation on your huge finishes, they are a great achievement. You have some beautiful projects which you are planning to stitch on. A thought for next year is to just have small pieces - wips or new starts - on your WIPGO board. Then you could pick one/two of your large projects to focus on each month - either just what you want to stitch or with your own random picker. Sick pets are the worse. Take care of yourself, thinking of you and your family. xxx
Thank you so much Caroline. That’s a good idea to have my smalls in my WIPGO chart and then just work through my large projects gradually. I will definitely consider that as I think about my plans for next year. Thank for your kind words. Happy stitching! ❤️
I was thrilled to see a video. Had to watch today with my stitching since I love the projects you work on. You had some great finishes lately - your stitching is so pretty!
Goodness! So many finishes! You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself and try to keep a good thought. One day at the time. May your cross stitch help you cope. I know it helps me. :-)
Thank you Deborah! My cross stitch does help a lot - I’m glad yours does too. I appreciate your kind words. Hope all is well with you. Happy stitching. ❤️
Always love to see what you've gotten finished! And everytime you show haul something goes on a wishlist 😂. I'm sorry it's been such a struggle the past couple of months - seems like 2020 never ended 🙈. Hope the holidays bring you less stress and lots of joy 💙
Thanks so much my friend. Life has been tough for you too. 😔 I hope that things are going better for you. I hope that you are having some quality stitching time. Sending lots of love. ❤️
Don’t know if you are subscribed to Teresa Little Stitcher but she has been through the same thing with her pooch. As I was listening I was thinking omg. She actually said she broke down in tears the next morning. So you are not alone in feeling overwhelmed in situations like this x Your wips and rotations you have to do what works for you. I did go through a stage of having a wip in every designer. But I worked out I don’t actually have the space and certainly not the time. I now have five that are on my stand . And five I curl up with a hoop on the sofa in the evening. I don’t count stitches but count the threads. So if I use up 14 threads on 14 count it’s all change and the next project starts. By doing this I can see some progress on each piece. Stitch what you want to stitch at the end of the day. Ps when you blame your haul on your daughter 🤣 you didn’t even blame it on another floss tuber !! Lovely to see you again From a subscriber in the very rainy wet uk xxx
I do watch Teresa but I must have missed the one where she talks about her dog having the same issues. It’s been hard. She started throwing up again yesterday so we were back at the vet again. Lots of further testing coming up. It’s hard to find a good balance with stitching. I hope I can come up with a good plan for next year but I’m not going to stress too much about it. As long as I feel like I’m making progress and make sure my WIP count doesn’t get out of control!! My daughter is one of my greatest enablers. She doesn’t stitch so she wants me to stitch stuff for her! 😂 Take care and happy stitching! ❤️
Loved your stitching. I say can never have too much Halloween to stitch. Our furry babies have had allergies bad this year. Mocha with his paws and licking, Java has been getting hit up outside and ends up with welts and blisters. Mocha did end up at the ER get a few weeks ago. One day at a time….
Hi Sherry. I hope Mocha is doing ok. We had to take Maggie back to the vet yesterday as she’s started throwing up again. She was given an anti nausea shot which seems to help for a couple of weeks but we are looking at ultrasounds and further testing. It’s such a worry. Hope all is going well with you. Thanks for watching. ❤️
So glad to see you again Mary!
