- What is Thrift Store Game Hunting (TSGH) about? Well its like my live flea market videos. Except this time im going to thrift stores & second hand shops to find my games. I should point out that I am also going to be looking at & talking about other random things I find. Even though my main priority is games, I do like to buy other things. Such as DVDs, board games, toys, and various other items I may want.

I been after Klonoa 2 Lunatea’s Veil for PS2 when it came out and till now.
I’ve never found it anywhere where I live and I think it has gone up in price but I’m not sure.
I missed the Thrift Store and Flea Market videos and now I know why.
Sometimes it is hard to find deals or find anything that you want.

It's tough dude, its cool to see you do a flea market video. Damn those are some pushy ass sellers and ive had some pretty good luck at pawn shops but it's hit or miss. I like your shitty attitude man, its not over the top or condescending it's just the truth.

Very similar situation for me. My local flea market which used to have 300+ vendors and seller's with at least 50+ of the just trying to get rid of house clutter types. About 4 year's ago we had a tornado tear up our town along with completely destroying the flea market. They rebuilt it a few months later but only around half the people returned and now with covid half of those are setting up. When I go out now maybe 70 people set up with only like 5 yard sale type people and trying to find games is near impossible. If I do come across games it's usually just very common crap that they think is worth way more than it is....oh sweet a 2003 Madden PS2 game that's been hockey pucked. $10 dollars you say? Praise the Lord for this deal🤦
Glad to see im not the only one experiencing a ton of problems. People have been weird, i've seen the old maddens with tags for 10+ dollars myself. I dont get it.
My flea markets have been the same way, less people in general higher prices. Hope the best for yall : ]

Finding anything at thrift stores near me is hard normally its the same old same old or one of the goodwills i go to puts anything slightly valuable online nevermind anything retro. However sometimes i find decent to interesting things my goodwill next to work has recently had pets beach and wreck it ralph 3ds (although the game was missing) and i did manage 3 weeks ago to come away with about 15 ps2 games i payed $50 for and some of the games were worth that alone. Still though I go once a week and the norm is finding absolutely nothing new
It's been extremely rare for me to find even a few games that aren't sports titles. I'd be lucky to buy 1 game a month

I hate to say it but videos on bargain finds are what has made them all go away.
I think that played a big part in it but also smartphones have been ruining video game collecting as well.
When i first started these videos and the flea market ones, not too many people were doing them. They're much more popular now and im sure that's somewhat of a contributing factor.

I'm getting into this hobby but for audio gear. I just got 6,000 bucks worth of gear for like 100 bucks.
Jesus that's a score and a half. Im wanting new recording gear at some point. The Blue Spark mic is good and all but i dont care for how it picks up so much unnecessary background noise.
@@FoxParasyte I do need to fix it up though... The headphones I got recently are the Yamaha HP-1's. They sound better than an HD-600 and are super hard to find... But are cheap...
