I will say that I'm still a huge fan of The Loud House even with the changes made. However, I think a good thing to point out is the behind the scenes changes that may have caused a divide in the fandom. The obvious thing is with Chris Savino being fired, and story editor Michael Rubiner stepping down from the role as he became the best showrunner. It seems like he's more hands off since he hasn't written anything Loud House related since season 3 despite being executive producer on everything related to the franchise. Other notable changes include director and storyboard artist Kyle Marshall becoming a co-producer on the series (though he left the show after season 6) and writers Kevin Sullivan and Whitney Wetta (who used to work on the later seasons of Fairly OddParents) becoming more heavily involved. The two of them started out as staff writers on The Loud House, and were promoted to story editors starting in season 5. In the case of Kevin, he actually co-wrote The Loud House Movie (which the director says takes place between seasons 4-5 despite being released during season 5), when fantastical elements became more heavily used. In season 7, Whitney is the sole story editor as Kevin is now a co-producer for the show. There's also how most of the original writers outside of Michael Rubiner, Kevin Sullivan, and Whiney Wetta have left (such as Sammie Crowley, who wrote until season 5 before she left to work on The Ghost And Molly McGee).
I believe The Loud House is quite overhated. I know it’s not for everyone and it’s not this groundbreaking feat of art, but I still think it’s very enjoyable. It’s just a cute lil show about a boy and his sisters, I don’t know why people get so heated about it. Also, as one of the normal fans of the show, we don’t claim the weirdos.
The problem with the loud house is that it’s a show that has lost its ip and fell off as Nickelodeon takes advantage by being greedy and always had a bad reputation of canceling shows after 2 or 3 seasons if they don’t reach the ratings that spongebob has which is still dumb. Well deserved shows like glitch techs, Harvey beaks, the mysticons, rise of the TMNT and MLAATR should have got the better treatment. Even C.H greenblat the creator of Harvey had exposed the network by making an article post that the exec’s forced him to apologize about them being junkie after they canceled his show without telling him before it got moved to Nicktoons.

Seasons 1-4 are good. After that there is a steep decline in quality. I dislike the unrealistic direction the show went in. It used to have quick cartoony gags that didn't impact the plot. Now they have entire story lines that are fantastical. There was one plot where Lucy was ghost hunting. What a great plot for Gravity Fa..... I mean Loud House. I love zany over the top cartoons as much as the next guy but it should start out that way. A show should pick a tone and stick with it. American Dad was zany from day one so its great when that show is off the wall.
But there are some good episodes, like one where Lola befriends a skunk. You've read this comment right. Lola, the sister who is known for getting away from anything nasty, befriends an animal Lana would like. That episode is really cute and I highly recommend it.
I don’t know about American Dad. While it was zany in the first season, its’ plots in recent episodes have gotten a little too ridiculous, even for the show’s standards.
@@icecreamhero2375 But man, even American Dad had episodes where the plot that focused on realism. And when they do something zany, it usually has something to do with Roger being an alien and Stan working at the CIA. Leaning more towards a sci-fi aspect. Honestly I think the turning point for my disliking of the show was probably around season 6, because before then I could still watch episodes of the show if it was a bad episode, and at the very least I could still enjoy the characters dynamics. But now the show is just kind of bland and boring to the point where sometimes if the characters are being to flanderized or the plot of an is just not executed well I genuinely just turn off the show, because even if the smallest thing about the episode angers me it’s kind of unwatchable, especially if there was an easy way to avoid a huge mistake a character made but they just ignored it to make the episode more drawn out in length. Which is kind of reasonable why I think that considering that anger is already on top of things like the horrible animation change most episodes have that started in the middle of season 5 (I know it’s not as bad as mid season 10 of FOP, but I will say the decline in animation quality is noticeable). Plus it just feels like they kind of talk down to the older kids who watch the show in a way, because of how in some episodes the main friend group (which are all currently 6th graders) treat themselves like they are older than they actually are at times yet they treat the 7-8th graders like they’re the problem even though they’re clearly just trying to get through life. Also this is just a little thing but I’ve noticed (and I’m not trying to sound s$xist or racist when I type this) most of the boys in Lincoln’s friend group (besides Clyde who is his own thing at this point) are white, while the three main friends who just so happen to be girls, are black. This is what happens when Nickelodeon, even with Cartoon Network and Disney Channel, lost their touch, in other words, make those bad shows happen to make things worse for everyone, just like the media.
