First Look of Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) Train

- The state-of-the-art RRTS rolling stock will be first of its kind in India with a design speed of 180 kmph. With radiating stainless steel outer body, these aerodynamic RRTS trains will be lightweight and fully air-conditioned.
Each car will have six automatic plug-in type wide doors, three on each side (Business Class will have four such doors, two on each side) for ease of access and exit. The RRTS trains will have transverse 2x2 seating with adequate legroom, optimized aisle width with grab handles, and grab poles for a comfortable journey for standing passengers, overhead luggage rack, mobile/laptop charging sockets and onboard Wi-Fi among other computer-centric features.
New Delhi’s iconic Lotus Temple is an epitome of sustainability as its design allows flow of natural sources of light and air circulation. On similar lines, RRTS rolling stock will have lighting and temperature control systems to enhance the passenger experience with less energy consumption. Equipped with modern amenities, the RRTS rolling stock will be a unique amalgamation of new-age technology and India’s rich heritage.

Let me explain, this is how China is taking on Australian economy, Australia needs diversification of its exports, China currently accounts to 53% of Australia's exports which is crazy high. As india grows, its consumption grows, as India's consumption grows, Australia can diversify its exports to us. This will diversify Australia's exports and make it less reliant on China.
Thus our growth is quintessentially important for Australia

The quality of the graphics is very good, the shadows falling on the train, the sunlight, and small things such as glass reflections have also been taken care of.
It is expected that this train will also be made for the rest of the country
it will be. Just think - In 2001, Delhi Metro had just begun operations. Apart from that, Kolkata had its own metro. Fast forward to 19 years in the future...so many Indian cities have metros. It just takes one successful project. Plus, India will have more money to spend in the future. So, it won't take 19 years to replicate a model in other cities...more like 10 years only.

Stainless steel..still look better than the vande bharat. Wonder why ICF does not collaborate with experienced company like bombardier for manufacturing of train sets
Indian railway has recently purchased the technology from South Korea to make trains with stainless steel. So in coming future you will see indian coaches made with steel. Possible the first train with steel frame will be train 18 or train 20

@@randomrandom316 That was so heartbreaking for us Gujaratis. That Bullet train project was a good deal and it would have opened door for Bullet Train projects allover in India. Also 1 thing that saddens me is that people don't actually want such projects and calls for betterment of existing transport system. That's the reason why chinese infra companies aggressively pushing i fra projects in other countries bcoz there nothing left to build in china anymore and they have to maintain the growth.
We need this in lot of high density corridors in India. I like the fact that Delhi is getting best funding and infrastructure. I wish the same is extended to Mumbai, South India and North-east India quickly.
Bombardier is the same company that manufactures coaches for Deutsche Bahn (DB) in Germany, which controls the German Railway System. The coaches are comfy af & amazing. I'm so happy that the GoI chose this company. Kudos Modiji.

To place things in perspective, are the funds coming from State govt or Central Govt ? If from the central Govt, what are the financial figures of funds released by central Govt agencies in both RRTS and Kolkata Metro -East West line 2 projects over last 5 years. Therein hides the tale of how different political compulsions govern the functioning of central agencies involved- Indian-Railways controlled Kolkata Metro on one hand, and NCRTC on the other, both working in 2 different political environments. in West Bengal the central govt controlled Railways has been snailing on for the last 11 years and still not even reached halfway . Whereas in UP Haryana, central govt funds are flowing like water (Rs 2500 crs in 2020 Budget and Rs4500 crs in 2021 Budget, No wonder NCRTC was already releasing its slick "First look" videos even before actually starting construction In Jan21. if political alignments are instrumental, then it would like corroborating the Quint and Opposition leaders statements and rather incriminating for the government agencies involved. So we should not go along with govt propaganda blindly like bhakts but analyse the figures ourselves.

No one develops Infra better than BJP. apart from RRTS, the Modi govt also gave the Delhi Meerut expressway (expected completion by end of 2021). We were waiting for this expressway since 1996.

RRTS is welcome with a speed of 180 kmph. oooH, a good achievement.
At the same time look at Sothern Railways MRTS, (Tamil Nadu Chennai) even after 4 decades MRTS not yet completed. Just 5 KM rail line took 15 years and God only knows when the project will get completed.

Delhi Panipat RRTS should also touch Newdelhi railway station.
3 RRTS corridors have been approved.
Also -- renovation and redevelopment of Newdelhi railway station is starting soon.
Newdelhi railway station is a major hub.
But -- none of the 3 corridors are going through Newdelhi railway station.
Hence -- the route of Delhi Panipat RRTS corridor should be realligned.Instead of going through Indraprastha , it should go as follows---
SARAIKALEKHAN--newdelhi railway station--kashmere gate--burari--mukarbachowk---alipur and so on .....

And Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-speed corridor Project cost is Almost "1,00000cr" rupees for 509 km
And speed will be 350km/hr
Means it will cost just 196cr rupees per 1 km
Yani 169cr rupees per km ka ghata???

Manufacturing costs is higher in case of aluminium train sets. And the tech is also complex. Very few countries have such tech. It is not considered as it'll increase the project costs and might make it unfeasible.

I sometimes feels embracement as India can't take bullet trains like rapid rails untill now when other countries are moving from bullet trains to maglev(east) or hyperloop(west) or pods etc..!!!
