- The ocean draining to the street and the massive flooding down t in the downtown area. The water was higher than I could go into with my truck. Its amazing how powerful something so far off shore can be. The streets are flooded for 3/4 of the island the storm drains couldn't keep up.

I'm glad you are able to show us what it's like in Florida. I have a daughter who lives in Tampa, so at least I can get a idea of what is heading her way! Thanks from a worried dad in Kansas 😮
😇
Looks like more work coming your way 😊
For sure and we are here to help.
Was supposed to visit cape coral Wednesday.Glad it wasn't anything like the last storm!Still alot of flooding! Appreciate the video🤙
Your welcome!
Great video. Awesome footage. Its just kiling me that you put your truck through all that salt water
Yeah you're not the only one. I rinsed it off.I don't know what to say.
Hey from Cape Coral. Wow! The water looks like it's over the edge in canals. Too bad you couldn't make it back to the bay.
Thanks for the video. You guys are adventurous.
I know I heard it flooded a lot of homes.
Omg nooo I was just there enjoying the fact that they were rwbuilding from Ian.
More damage 💔
Glad I found this video!! You rode past my job and I've been worried about it! 😢
😇👍
Seems like yesterday! good thing a lot of people rebuilt on stilts
Tons of new builds are on stilts
What happened to that cool little beach hangout of the 60s and 70s? Looks like it has been destroyed with concrete and blacktop.
It has been destroyed.
A mobile “fortress “ that is advertised with billboard signage everywhere it goes. Boxes & shipping containers. It’s “Logistics “ of efficiency. Were goin way past box trucks.
Not sure what you are talking about sir?
Dave, what do you think is the impact on those properties that people were trying to redevelop after Irma? Is this going to be a huge setback for the area?
I don't think so I think there was a very small amount of properties that were affected by the flooding. Most of it was the storm drains, couldn't take the rain, they it handled it after a few hours
As a fellow class a CDL driver you sir made a lot of good decisions!!!!!!
I don't have a cdl
Well sir your judgement led me to believe you did!!
@@chrishidalgo5998 What do you mean by that? Sir?
@@removeitprosdemolition I'm sorry no disrespect you where driving down a flooded street and good sense to turn around ma y people would have just went forward but you have the sense
No one should be out in this! Br careful
Careful is my middle name.
Seriously, think about a F750 all aired up to 38,000 pounds. Think about 3 uses, dropping 12 foot containers & a 30 yard box. The container holds all the tools, and the box takes trash, then it could also drop a 30 foot container to store salvage out of the weather.
Only thing is you won’t find a 38k F750 at dealer, with tag 22.5 in 8 tires, you have to order it from Ford. I saw one delivered from order, and it is a “tax write off” work of art.
Have not seen one 38 k Ford F750 in town. In tag axle 22.5 tire.
Containers for tools and loot, boxes to the dump in maximum efficiency. Let’s stop loading up trucks with tools at the end of the day, throw them all in the container on site. Only way theft could happen if some one stole the container itself, very few trucks can pick that up.
Oh i get it. Might work.
More work for sure…..
Likely
Was that caused by the Gulf of Mexico or rain?
Both
😮
😇👍
I bet the flood insurance is very high
Insurance companies are leaving Florida !
Your bet is correct.
Yes they are. We are stuck with FEMA for flood.
EEEOUUU! WHAT'S THAT SMELL?
Amen to that
