I've always liked Bob Newhart's personality and humor. It's good to watch and go back in time a bit. Thank You for posting these shows. I'm also thankful there are no commercials. What a blessing to not have interruptions screaming through the program. Great!
This takes me back to when my late wife and I would watch this show every Monday night at 9:00 PM. With my one-year-old son asleep on my lap and my beautiful wife by my side. Rest in peace, Cheri.
@@mikemontgomery8407 She's dead; hence "late wife." But thank you for your cruel comment; it's always appreciated when someone makes a horrible comment.
Kind of defeats the purpose. My understanding is that Eric Clapton tried this sort or thing at first with “Layla”. It didn’t sell until he revealed his true identity. In any case, I think Michael is right-not that anyone should coast, but nothing, for example, (of the few things) I ever published made getting something else published one jot easier, and I suspect that that’s pretty typical for all but a handful. If it would, I can’t imagine using a pseudonym to test my true worth. My true worth and the marketplace are entirely different things (as I imagine). Yes, this is just comedy, but the plot and dialogue are constructed by writers, and it’s easy to tell that their experience as writers colors what they write.
