Your reference to working with others reminded me that I never would have known about you or your channel if you had not worked with Chris at letsdig18. I had been watching his channel and when you came on, it caught my attention and I have been following you since then.
Thank you 👍🏻👍🏻
You need to weld some points on your grapple to be able to grab the wood.
Boy that saw is handy on the grapple! Sweet set up!
I felt the thump here at my house and I live in central Kentucky. Lol. Have a great week.
That's awesome, you too!
That's a monster tree, 2 sticks just about fill up the trailer. When it hit the ground, I could fill it in the video. Thanks for the video
That would be a nice log to sell to a sculptor for a wood carving or a raw edge table build.
Oh my good lord!
I cannot believe the land owner is NOT keeping the oak as firewood!
Oak burns at one of the hottest temps and gives off the best calorific value
So wish I lived Stateside and near you
I’d gladly have the oak 🥰🥰🥰🇬🇧🇺🇸🙏🙏🙏😁
That Hyundai is a BEAST!!
Awesome job ! Having that Grapple is really the best..
I use to be into logging and when I was into logging I use to run a 880 stihl with a 3 and 4 foot bar on it along with full skip chains on it and when it came to big pieces like that I use to use a kubota l4400 with a bucket on the front of it to lift big pieces of wood like those into my dump trailer or pack them home with my l4400 I would get them big pieces of wood home and I would take my 880 and split the wood with it rather than useing a splitter sometimes my l4400 wouldn’t be able to lift some of the pieces so I would take my 880 and cut them in half and when I was splitting it I would pick those big pieces of wood up by hand and I would roll two logs together and I would make me what I call splitting bench and then I would pick up the big pieces of wood by hand and I would set them down on the splitting bench and I would have at them with my 880 I got the pieces down to where that I could lift them by hand and to go into our arrow wood burning stove that we had with big pieces of wood like that you were cutting and that I use to cut I was able to get five pieces of wood out of one of them big pieces I wound up going length ways on the log and going in half until I got the wood to where that it wood fit in our wood burning stove I don’t do logging anymore because people never paided me for doing it and that I didn’t want to have to go out and get all of the loomanady bullshit in order to have a job when I was logging I did it without all of the loomanady bullshit
So very cool.
Great work
One stick of that would be a pile of pulpwood
Great job Tim, Kevin and Brad👌👍🙏😎
Another beautifully finished job, well done all of you. 😊
Great work from everyone Tim! That’s a huge tree!
That 881 is about like hanging onto a 500 Kawasaki... Any idea how much you had on that Trailer? Bet is was a hell of a load! Nice job to all involved!
That tree was a hoss!!
Tim that tree was huge in weight
Awesome work Tim and crew! Finished product is on point
My old vermeer 665 loves those giant stumps
Thank him for his service. This is from a retired Army missile tech.
Thought fer a second that you were the green guy and your orange suit was in the laundry 😂
That’s a big ol boy!
It was definitely a hoss
Sthil cuttin good after all these trees and years. How long have you had this beast now?
Was wondering if you counted the rings?
Wow !! Tim, I have a question ? I also have an Oak about the same size if not a little Bigger, I know it's gonna sound like a dumb question but, what would one like that cost to just get trimmed up ? I would think a few thousand dollars !! The limbs on mine are at least 12-16 in. on the biggest ones, ya know and smaller as ya go up !! just would like to have an idea of the cost, I'm disabled, and live on a fixed income so, gonna take awhile to save up to be able to get someone out here to do it. And I live here in Western Ky. in Hopkins County to be exact !! about 45 min. east of Ky. Lake. Thanks !! and Great Video as always...
Really depends on if what's trimmed can be dropped or everything will have to be rigged down.
Mega tree 👍👍
What’s the furthest you’ve seen limbs fly?
We had a dry dead oak limb about 4” diameter about 3’ long puncture shed just under 200’ from where the tree landed.
🔥🔥🔥🔥 dam nice work wel don
Thanks 🔥
How big at stump?
