  • While the excess of rock and roll leads many to live fast and die young, other stars live hard and still make it to old age, albeit with plenty of issues. Perhaps the most famous example of this is Ozzy Osbourne, who has both suffered unspeakable pain and caused unspeakable pain to others. The former Black Sabbath singer has had a tragic life from the time he was young, and tragedy continued to follow him into adulthood. From the horrible moments in both of his marriages to the death of his friend and guitarist, let’s take a look at some tragic details about Ozzy Osbourne.

I've been an Ozzy fan since 1970.I've seen Black Sabbath, and Ozzy solo in concert dozens of times,I have every CD the man has ever recorded,I'm a huge fan.I don't drink, smoke,or use drugs, and Ozzys music has never made me want to harm myself or anybody else. These young people who committed suicide had mental problems already, and it's not fair to blame Ozzy.PARENTS,love your kids, talk to them with respect, and they will respect you.Everything good will fall into place.

I do d it hypocritical and wrong that, while they ...media,tells women, not to take abuse...they tell us this is ok,they praise the fact that they're giving each other chances...yes,because he's troubled...but isn't all abusive husband's troubles ...shod they not also be understood, and helped, ofcourse it's hard when we as women don't understand what he's gone through, what he needs, why he is the way he is,there's a big hole in our hearts that can't be filled with anything but truth, the holy spirit...but sad when most people these days are filled with the spirit of vanity,selfishness,pride,egoism...or loneliness...depression...all those spirits, can not and wi not help another lost spirit...but the spirit of wholeness, understanding, selflessness, pure love, without that empty feeling,is the oy way to help them feel the most truest form of help, but sadly,we keep helping with therapy, which somewhat helps, but isn't the genuine thing, which is why you see most still relapse...and in their time of sayi g they've been helped alot, they say how they've got better, and tell their story of victory...there's still at a loss...even while they speak...it's as if,they were trained to feel better, they were taught a solution, taught what was wrong with them,so they learned what was wrong, but learning, how you were broken, doesn't exactly give you the feeling that you're still not broken...so everyday, you battle to tell yourself everyday, that you've been fixed, just to believe that you are, subconsciously ofcourse...without words...with words,we tell ourselves, therapy helped...I know why I'm broken,I know I'm fixed,I'm fine ... But the windows to the soul, let us know, they're still not whole, and that's because this world is seeking self fulfillment...again,with vanities, ego, pride, though the person that has those qualities feel good...those things, those spirits, can not and will not, genuinely help,q soul in despair, nomatyer how much were taught those things are good...which is sadly the reason why there's more and more lost souls, more depressed people, suicidal people...pride,is to far from loneliness, vanity ,is definateley far from it...because they are the spirit of people that are to busy thinking of themselves, that they can't stop to notice the loneliness in others, the cry of those in despair, because they don't literally or exactly say,I'm dying here...can someone help me...therefore,we must be alrert,it's not the same to worship a person, because then, you simply glorify the part you see that's not suffering ... But don't understand what's going on inside, were to busy just wanting to be with them, not for them, but for ourselves, because we feel good, because we were with a star, with an idol...if we only realized the things we do,without intending to...

This sounds like the parents weren't paying enough attention to their kid and need a scapegoat. Depression and suicidal thoughts dont just pop up an you want to act them like that. Ozzy was the first concert i ever saw , it was the diary of a madman tour and incredible , we had 16th row on the floor and rushed the stage when Ozzy came on.Since then i have seen him solo and with Sabbath over 25 times , he will always be the man to me and when he's no longer with us the world will truly have lost a legend. The title definitely caught my attention! I am happy to hear he's okay! If you're reading this Sharon, I know exactly how you felt the moment he had his hands wrapped around your throat! My ex-husband had choked me until I was near unconscious. This was over 30 years ago and it feels like yesterday! I saw my life flash before my eyes and begged him to let me see a picture of my daughter before he killed me! I'm assuming, it was Within 15 or 20 minutes of being choked that his friend broke in to the room and overpowered him! I'm happy to say I left that same day! As for Ozzy he needs to stay clean and sober!

I see a lot of comments talking about this video made them (in one way or another) think that Ozzy had died. While I'm sure this wasn't intentional, take it as a simple reality check. Ozzy is old, made even older by the life he's led, and he doesn't have a whole lot of time left. Mentally prepare now, because when we do finally lose the "Prince of Darkness", it's probably going to be the saddest day that metal music has ever known.

Whenever I read "Things were so terrible he even considered ending his life" I'm always like, "That doesn't sound bad at all." I've almost constantly considered ending my life for the last 20-25 years I guess. Does no one consider ending their life? I would think it would be a somewhat normal thing to do, I mean I'm pretty sure I do it way more than average, but how many of you consider ending your life, and how frequently? Just curious because I wonder if everyone's a little depressed, or worse. Or maybe I'm just so depressed that I don't see how anyone could consider living on this hellhole of a planet we have here.
