  • These classic stuffed bell peppers are easy to make ahead and bake when you get home, and they can be dressed up with marinara and mozzarella for a pizza version or hit with salsa and pepper jack for a Southwest twist.
    Take this basic stuffed bell pepper recipe in any direction! (P.S. the filling freezes great too!)

    I am a man learning to cook foods that I know, and have always enjoyed. I love good stuffed bell peppers. I have watched several stuffed bell pepper videos and I like yours best. It appears to have the ingredients I prefer. I might spice mine up a bit, but I plan to try your recipe. Thanks.

    I made these this evening and it turned out to be stellar! I tend to clean out the fridge and garden for freshest ingredients. This is a nod to my late Momma and it couldn't have been better! Thanks so very much, Rachael 🌞🍽🙆‍♀️❤!

    Another good one. You're right about the rice, I'm usually wondering that...measured dry then cooked or cooked and then measure some. Lol

    When she said that she drains off the fat from the skillet, I wonder if she's referring to the water that comes out of the beef during browning?
    Cos any fat = flavour, and I would leave that in.
    Just have to cook the beef until all the water evaporates.

    • @FeastandFarmCooks

      Our home grown beef lends at least 1/2 cup of solid fat per pound when cooked. I gladly take that out.

    Hi! How would you cook the rice?

    • @FeastandFarmCooks
      @FeastandFarmCooks  3 роки тому

      Hey Crystal, it will depend on what kind of rice you have. The box or the bag will have instructions (Basmati is my favorite) but you can use any type in this recipe.

    I never understood why people need a special instrument to crumble up hamburger. 🙄 I just crumble it into the pan with my own two hands.
