Sabi niya, a reunion show is "counterproductive to growth". I'm a Bamboo fan, but I hate that answer! Argh! Naisip ko, parang walang sense of nostalgia tong si Bamboo. He's very keen on progression and growth. Hindi ka naman pinapabalik sa banda, Francisco; it's just getting back together with your brothers, playing the music that you've created as a collective just like old times! Not to mention, it's not just a random reunion; it's for a freaking milestone year! But somehow I think he just said that and didn't really mean it. In my view, what's really stopping any reunion from happening is the Bamboo/Nathan drama.

@Karlo Tee I think he will never return to Rivermaya but he did say that he's open to a reunion. Sabi niya kasi in an interview, he's more enticed by the idea of a reunion album with the band rather than a reunion show. I think that interview was in 2015, matagal na rin. Who knows baka he changed his mind na. 🤷♀️ Also, he and Nathan still need to settle their issues. I hope they patch things up. ✌😊

Ang mahirap sa current line up is walang tunay na frontman e. As much as Mike is doing it, he's a guitarist at best. Admire him for doing it though. Iba kasi yung Rico at Bamboo, admit natin yun, kasi dinadala nila yung banda e. Even with Perf as their guest, at all star band sila, without a true vocalist, hilaw yung audience impact e at sa performance. Kaya nung nag reunion, ok e kasi may lead vocals na sila, 2 pa.

Fun fact: The first inception of Rivermaya was meant to be a show/cover band, nakita lang kasi later on yung prowess ni Rico sa songwriting kaya binago ang concept.

@Karlo Tee I think he will never return to Rivermaya but he did say that he's open to a reunion. Sabi niya kasi in an interview, he's more enticed by the idea of a reunion album with the band rather than a reunion show. I think that interview was in 2015, matagal na rin. Who knows baka he changed his mind na. 🤷♀️ Also, he and Nathan still need to settle their issues. I hope they patch things up. ✌😊

Ang mahirap sa current line up is walang tunay na frontman e. As much as Mike is doing it, he's a guitarist at best. Admire him for doing it though. Iba kasi yung Rico at Bamboo, admit natin yun, kasi dinadala nila yung banda e. Even with Perf as their guest, at all star band sila, without a true vocalist, hilaw yung audience impact e at sa performance. Kaya nung nag reunion, ok e kasi may lead vocals na sila, 2 pa.
