Did a few hit contracts, was getting a nice amount of money and started to store some loot... Died to a cat. RIP
Actually I have a great idea for a challenge. So you are an American agent sent to the Zone to investigate these Labs that might have created the Zone. After that you need to venture towards the center of the Zone and discovery the core of its problems i.e. the Wish Granter. Blow it up with plastic explosives set to a minute. Then after that you need to go to outskirts and take out the Monolith headquarters then finally extract at the Cordon Military checkpoint. A few rules: 1. Can’t attack Military as you are US employed agent 2. If you want to disguise through a base or controlled area you must use that factions uniform (no ecologist outfits) 3. No changing factions 4. You can’t have a base, you need to create one with a tent. I need to adjust it until it works but it would be a fun little custom campaign
Great idea in my opinion, but maybe with a custom scripted return to cordon evacuation point, cause generally when you go back past pripyat/radar you have da best gear and it will be just too easy

I remember playing the games, when they came out, and wish I had someone to tell me to the basic stuff that you showed (detector on while traveling, jump on objects to avoid wild life...). wow I think doing iron man with the hardest difficulty is really fun but Im not that experienced of a stalker tho I played with the some what easy difficulty and I still struggle especially with looting guns and repairing them
Really looking forward to this series! A bit of advice, putting your weapon / detector away gives you a movement speed increase handy for transport or running away from something. Also, you'll want to keep your patches to give to Aslan in Dead City (with a disguise, of course). The rewards from Aslan's lottery can be insane, I've recieved a bunch of artefacts and high-end containers as well as 100% condition weapons such as Deagle, P90 / MP7 with ammo for them too. The patches aren't worth much to sell anyway, especially on survivalist.
The patch gathering quests are why you save them. The ability to get a stash coordinate from them, and that stash possibly having a toolkit in it, highly outweighs the lottery until you have every toolkit. Not to mention they're weightless, and the quests also give money.

Strange things. Most of the time Rostok is a no fighting place, but one military run, the loners decided to swarm me. On to of that there was emission so I had to take safe place. I must have killed several dozens until my slug ammo ran out and then they got me.
Most series I've seen people get lucky on episode one and already start rocking a solid weapon, this is a breath of fresh air, specially since it's similar to my start. I just recently downloaded Anomaly + Gamma, I'm in love. I've always been interested in STALKER, this is the best way to experience it. BTW 10:43 That never happened to me, (wiping the water from your face) is that in GAMMA by default or is it something you have to turn on in the mod organizer?
Starting as military is fine for LTTZ as you can change factions. Problem is Gatekeeper can and will die given enough tine when you are hostile to him.
After that many hours in stalker, just realizing giving medkits to dying stalkers also gives rep... ^^ I used to sit next to the guy, to see If he was gonna bleed out, so I can loot him lmao Do you know how much rep it gives per stalkers saved ? et Bravo pour l'invictus ! Can't wait to watch all this like an absolute maniac : )
You probably should of started as Ecologist, it is the faction that I played my Invictus run through on. It makes the early game which is the hardest part easier since you only really have to worry about bandits. You can also do missions for military to get your rep up with them and have access to nice goodies

I am currently on my second try of military ironman (i moved into an anomaly while looking through binoculars, losing my second life, first one was after trying out the phantom star, they can hear you unequip it and i got shot), its my first time seriously trying it so i do not dare to try invictus lol

I have achieved invictus in vanilla anomaly started as military and then joined ecologist; it was hard playing as mili and get a run going, it took many tries. I am currently using the addon "Storylines DTLX" as it adds a Military storyline so i'm trying to achieve that without dying. I have also an UNISG ironman 1 life going on currently, i have never tried playing UNISG storyline ever, its like my 5th try i cant play gamma because it runs like crap for me, low tier gpu kinda...but i don't think i am missing out, it looks fancy but i prefer a more practical experience, like having my own curated addonlist
I usually prefer buying the hunting kit rather than the hunting knife, since it only costs 2000 more and you get the benefits of increased mutant parts Edit: Misinformation had been spread, the hunting kit doesn't work like a knife, so you still need a good knife for thick skinned mutants but you do gain more parts when you have it
You need Hunting Knife to be able to skin Boars and other thick-skinned mutants like Chimeras and Pseudogiants. Boars are common enough to make Knife pay for itself really quickly.
@@avanitia in gamma boars don't count as thick skinned and the hunting kit acts like a knife, it lets you skin all mutants and it gives you extra parts. The disadvantage of the kit is that it means you cant wear a bigger backpack but early game I think it's worth it.

Yeah its to give back missions to random stalkers hoping to get stash coordinates as they're so important in GAMMA; You always end up having extra after a while so I sell those to Butcher yeah
Can you please upload in higher quality? Like 1080p or 1440p? Higher resolutions make youtube stream the video in a higher bitrate, which leads to higher video quality. The current quality of the video is really bad, since most of it is dark and rainy and youtube's compression doesn't do well with that, which makes it hard to see what's happening in the video.
These options should be there yeah! UA-cam compression kinda crushes the videos (especially bad with Stalker in very monotone / desaturated environments) so I started uploading everything 4K to help!
My friend, some feedback, please don't edit out inventory interactions, as someone who is also playing, I want to see optimised ways of repairing stuff for example etc. Also, when is the next part coming out?
Invictus is a challenge that you can try to do in Anomaly / GAMMA / EFP etc... Completing the main story without dying in the hardest difficulties. All the GAMMA mods and balancing / economy definitely makes it much harder than achieving it in Vanilla anomaly for example.
You can change faction pretty easily with anybody that's allied/neutral. Not even sure there's a rep requirement. Military to Duty for example is 10k rubles. That's it.
carrying capacity is 15 not over 50, say good bey to your Run. have you not blowne it the last Time who your tried a INVICTUS Run because you have set the weight higher. how have you fixt the problem? start over

I always have my hideout in that warehouse attached to the arena, it even has a cabinet you can place boxes into for neat storage

Hi Cheeki, I found in other mods, it's possible to shoot an artefact away from an anomoly. Just on your first level.

How so, on my runs as Merc he was never hostile even though Loners and Mercs attack each other on sight.

started a monolith playthrough with a VSS and was really bummed that you cant even buy that type of ammo from the merchant. hopefully thats fixed soon
Perhaps you need to raise supply level. Traders won't sell 'elite' or specialized ammo like 9x39 right off the bat

Rostok is kinda of a "safe zone". As long as you're good with Duty nothing will happen to you there.

Rostok is a neutral territory (at least for stalkers whose faction is friendly to Duty). I play as a military and only fight Loners outside of Bar
