My hubby had to step in and used a pair of pliers to hold the plastic disc down in order to open a soap dispenser. So aggravating!! They definitely need to redesign the bottle. They are always frustrating to open.

Here two years later. Big help! I had the gel one that just would not open. Your tips helped. I ended up holding tight like you said but twisted it clockwise first so it tightened up and then spined counter and it popped so easy! Thank you!

I held onto the base and the neck and slowly turned the pump waiting to hear the click and suddenly the soap went flying across the room! I’m so grateful. Thank you again!!
Sounds frustrating Bonnie. I always screenshot the order number after I place the order so I have it. I noticed today in the store that the sanitizer wipes were 75% off, yet online it says they're online exclusive and full price. Seems unfair to those who order online. I did receive new coupons today, free wallflower fragrance refill and a 20% off. So much 75% off items still available in store. I ordered the Japanese cherry blossom shampoo and conditioner. Your mother would probably enjoy them. Nice scent. Hope you get your order!
I screenshot my confirmation immediately on all sites. BBW has been shorting online shoppers for quite some time and what disturbs me is how vast the difference continues to be in prices. I tend to shop largely online and I watch a lot UA-cam videos, I get discouraged to say the least when I see walkthroughs and items that are online at 50% are 75% in stores. To me if it's the company's products and they are on sale then both in store and online shoppers should be charged the same.
I agree mostly. I have like 3 to 4 orders that didnt record under my account. Which really ticks me off. As far as the 3rd.. i had 15 candles in my cart EARLY this morning. Went through the entire paypal checkout... at the end... 14 of the 15 were "out of stock". That was like 10 hours ago. Quite a few I can currently add to my cart. Im so over their website.
Finally! Thank you for this video. I had never seen a mechanism like this before, so when I got my Bath & Body Works soap, I was stumped. Instinctively, I turned the top to the left as much as I could, but that didn't work. I was wasting product by taking the top completely off to get to the soap. I appreciate your knowledge and even not making me feel foolish for not being able to figure this out on my own. :)

I see it in my acct but I keep getting emails they have delays and bare with them I think my order will be cancelled by time it gets shipped due to the fact it was some 75% candles. And I have had the out of stock and the checking out and then out of stock. Their site is not good
I highly recommend that when you get a confirmation screen that says thank you for your order to write down your order number from that screen. That can help the team see where that order went to
I have a 4th! Three times now I have placed a store pick up order (the order went through completely on the website) BUT the stores don’t have those items in stock at all!! It seems the website will show a 75% off candle available at your store for pick up…But they never (or haven’t in a long time) had that item in stock. It’s across the board too. This morning it seems some if not all stores were showing Raspberry Mimosa candle for 75% off but when I went to my store they said they didn’t have any of those in stock. And I read where others were saying they tried to in store order that candle too and it was later canceled.

Yeah the only Marshmallow Fireside item in my nearest store was the foaming soap so I bought it… Tried it and ugh my hands were sooo dry and left no scent behind whatsoever.. Scent Theory from Walmart (I believe?) is a gentle foaming hand soap that leaves a great scent behind for some time. I use Boardwalk Spun Sugar, yummy smell if you’re into gourmand scents! ☺️
I got the same email for my 1/7 order! It’s only 4 wallflower refills and they said they are still working on it. Also I tried to place 2 other orders using PayPal and all items are sold out but both down payments came out of my account although there was nothing in my cart. It’s just so upsetting getting excited to snag a sale item and you can’t purchase it. But I know it’s not just me it’s happening to. Thank you for the soap information.
Bonnie, I know when I have placed orders before, I will hit place order button and instead of an order number coming up, the shopping cart will appear but only can be seen if moved down on the screen. After each order I place I generate a receipt which has an actual order number on it. You should either print out a receipt after your order is placed or at least write down the order number. Without an order number bbw CS cannot do too much to help out. Rather than wait for an email, I would generate a copy of the online receipt which you get immediately after hitting the place order button.
i never got my order i placed after xmas ..... says it was shipped on the 6th.. its now the 16th.. i gave extra time knowing how ups is now.... i got in touch with b&bw and they are shipping my 7 candles back out to me... most were sold out, so i picked new scents.. this is the 1st time i didnt get my order??? but customer service was very nice....

Sometimes I write down the amt + order # in case there is a problem, I can contact Customer Service . . . I always have problems with my card going threw and I have to do it 5 to 7 time and by then I'm super frustrated and then I have to go back and take things out cause there sold out. Ugh....
I know lame. I got an order delivered with a sealed half empty box, three items, no invoice and eight things missing. All emails and my account say all were delivered together. Seven days ago. So I clearly just got ripped off.
The website is so wacky. Make sure to take a picture of your screen after the order goes through. Maybe clearing cookies/cache in your browser might help! And check your spam folder just in case. The lastest my email took to arrive was like a whole day, it was weird and I thought it was just a dream 🤣
I have had the same ordering issues with SAS - so annoyed, because I really wanted Cozy Sunday Morning body wash, and I added it to my basked but when I clicked purchase I couldn't complete the order because it said it was sold out.
With the shipping issue, I had the same problem when I ordered the candles for Candle Day. It took some time to show up on my account and took forever to show up on my card. I was afraid that my candle order didn’t go through but I got the order eventually.
Speaking of pumps, I wish BBW would make more sturdy pump nozzles for the glass aromatherapy body lotions. It took me forever to get the lotion to come out of my new Bergamont Cedarwood. I almost gave up thinking it was defected. It hasn't happened on any of my sleep collection bottles. Maybe I got a bad bottle. Also that's so weird your orders are constantly untraceable. Have you tried ordering using a different device (cell, tablet, husband's computer)? Does your internet connection frequently interrupt? A real Scooby Doo mystery. 😆🤔
What I’m concerned about is seeing that my informed delivery shows I should be receiving a coupon mailer but it still hasn’t made its appearance even though I’ve received other mail items it said to expect 🧐

I have a 4th anomaly, i signed on, then I loaded 10 candles. I then took a screen shot (in case something bad happens) and as I finished photos, BAM it says I have zero in my basket. What the heck, glad I took the screen shots. However, I loaded and hit the final review it then said 7 of the picked candles were “Not available at this time”. Why why can’t they tell me in the beginning when I pick the candles. My other question, is why do they have (Online only)?? I want to use the store all the time, AND, one of the workers at BBW agreed, telling at least 20 customers each day.

I was able to get the Bonfire Bash moisturizing body wash. I got 3. I got a coconut water lotion from the wellness collection, and a little white crate that says White Barn on it. I'm officially done with SAS! 💸
For the hard to open soap I twisted counter clockwise for a while till it started to crank and was hard to turn, then turned the other way once around and then back the other way again and it popped! If anyone can’t get it don’t give up lol
I’ve had it happen to me I think even if one item is sold out it can ruin ur whole order the coco cream candle 🕯 said sold out even in store and messed up my whole order I go in store and a whole pile of them they are having a lot of technical problems I think
I'm sorry that you are going thru that.... I ordered 7 SAS candles for $6 on the 7th and just received an email saying that it was finally shipped out...
I placed two orders it let me pay and everything and went and looked at my email and while I was looking at my confirmation email another one popped right in after saying sorry these items are canceled from your order except for like one thing so I called because I’m not paying shipping on one thing
On the pumps, one other way to get it to work is unscrew the entire top off, then use a towel or something to hold the inside base in place with one hand, and at the same time unscrew the top until it pops up. Usually works. 😂😣
I haven’t ordered online in quite a while- had an experience a few months ago where my package got lost, I called and they said they were going to refund me the money for the items that sold out in that time, and then the money never got put back into my bank account. They did end up making it right in the end and The customer service reps were nice and professional but it just honestly put me off ordering online. I did cave and place one more order when the fairytale candle popped back up online because I knew I would probably never see it in the store again. My candle showed up thankfully, it took about two weeks but I was okay with that as long as I got it. I’m fortunate to live by a few different stores. It just sucks because I will see things online that I like, but the thought of placing the order seems almost too risky, like is it worth the potential stress and anxiety to place an order? Lol
Hi Bonnie! This has happened to me before too. I had ordered a lot of fragrance mist worth of $30 I back in the Summer SAS and never got it. I couldn’t do anything about it since I have only one store in my country and they always get things so late or never get them at all. Im not so sure if there’s something I could do online, if it happens again…

The foaming soaps are definitely preferable to us both in how easy they are to open and also how they feel.
The foaming is perfect for the kids...the don't over use soap😉....burning "Falling Flurries"

We use foam soap super fast and the gel takes forever to use up. The foam also dries my hands to the point of cracking.

I’ve had it happen to me I think even if one item is sold out it can ruin ur whole order the coco cream candle 🕯 said sold out even in store and messed up my whole order I go in store and a whole pile of them they are having a lot of technical problems I think

On the pumps, one other way to get it to work is unscrew the entire top off, then use a towel or something to hold the inside base in place with one hand, and at the same time unscrew the top until it pops up. Usually works. 😂😣

Im irritated with the website because it keeps stopping on one page and the back button wont work. After refreshing a bunch of times i just gave up.
I haven’t ordered online in quite a while- had an experience a few months ago where my package got lost, I called and they said they were going to refund me the money for the items that sold out in that time, and then the money never got put back into my bank account. They did end up making it right in the end and The customer service reps were nice and professional but it just honestly put me off ordering online. I did cave and place one more order when the fairytale candle popped back up online because I knew I would probably never see it in the store again. My candle showed up thankfully, it took about two weeks but I was okay with that as long as I got it. I’m fortunate to live by a few different stores. It just sucks because I will see things online that I like, but the thought of placing the order seems almost too risky, like is it worth the potential stress and anxiety to place an order? Lol
