Well, not even that. Godzilla is not a hero...or villain. It's just a monster. Kami-sama no Otaku But it WAS a joke. "Hey, way to go, Godzilla. You killed those awful creatures, that only wanted to breed."Yeah, when you consider it, the M.U.T.O.s were amoral villains. This has got to be my favorite HISHE video.
AstroManX100 It's kind of one of my favorite things about this move is how they handled the mutos. They weren't really monsters as such but more like animals. They didn't really destroy things intentionally unless attacked (Godzilla was arguably as destructive) And lets face it, they were certainly more sympathetic and had more character then the boring, cliched human characters.
Draylok3 It's actually rather striking how the MUTOs were basically regular animals trying to procreate and survive. No inherent evil in what they were doing. Yet, in Jurassic World (Minor Spoilers Warning!), the Indominus Rex was pretty much an omnicidal maniac. Interesting how an animal (fictional or not) can be seen as innocent or evil depending on how they act.
Draylok3 True. They reminded me of the gyaos but for some reason I found the gyaos really creepy and kind of liked the Mutos. Maybe it was the mating present or how upset they were about the egg destruction. Or just the fact that they weren't eating humans, or bothering them at all intentionally as you say unless they were attacked.
" Let them fight " " Are you sure there's nothing we can do?" " Let them fight " " Maybe nuke the creatures before they reach a major city?" " Let them fight " " Maybe power down the facilities these monsters feed off of?" " Let them fight!" " You just wanna see giant monsters fight don't you?" " let them fight :( "
"maybe nuke the creatures before they get to the big city?" Bro... the animals literally feed on nuclear bombs, especially Godzilla, plus almost nothing works on them except the oxygen destroyer
This is easily one of my all-time favorite HISHE videos! :D What I especially appreciate about it is how it doesn't completely demonize the movie like everyone else did when it first came out. I feel like I'm one of the few people who still actually likes this movie. I know it could have been a lot better (Or worse, for that matter), but I'm glad you guys had the decency not to completely ruin it for people like me. Never stop being awesome, HISHE! You have my utmost respect. :)
+nerdsman567 I,m actually dislike film. 120 mins, where Godzilla showing up maximum for 5 mins and interrupted by humans each time. This films just doesn`t deserve the name "Godzilla". However, "Godzilla: resurgence"can become evenmore strange films because of tiny arms of new Godzilla design.
Godzilla was an awesome movie. Even though I already posted a comment on this video earlier, it pretty much disappeared in tons of other comments, so I'm going to make my point again. People complaining about this movie is getting ridiculous, everyone in the comments is treating this like it's Sonic '06! I know that everyone keeps complaining about it because Cranston died, and they thought Godzilla didn't get any screentime, but in the first movie, there was a build up like in this one, and Godzilla had limited screentime like in this, in fact he probably had more screentime in this then he did in the 1954 one. But people still keep complaining, and ignoring every awesome moment with Godzilla and the Mutos, especially the truly epic atomic breath scenes! Also, the T-rex in Jurassic Park only appeared for 10 minutes, and Jurassic Park was 4 minutes longer than this. So I think they gave Godzilla a pretty fair amount of screentime in this movie. Honestly, this movie was epic, but people nowadays just keep analyzing movies instead of actually enjoying them.
***** Of course, the reason that many of the Godzilla films featured the humans way more than the monsters was because they had, like, no budget and the special effects of the time were pretty awful. No one went to these films to see the humans, they were just padding the run time.
At least the old Godzilla movies focused around Godzilla and in this one Godzilla was a supporting character in his own movie! and yea the original one didn't give him a lot of screen time but guess what? there's 20+ more Godzilla films where there's more screen time and just cause the director wanted less screen time we have to settle for it? No! We came to watch Godzilla not see Mutos and humans fight! While everyone was cheering and clapping at the end of the movie me and my cousins were booing because this was honestly one of the biggest disappointments in my life
***** I don't think people would appreciate Superman being pretty useless. I would want Godzilla to win, so yeah he definitely beats mind controlled Superman, but it should take Godzilla and Superman to beat King Ghidorah. Other then that, perfect.
Well, in Godzilla's defense, Superman could take Zod away from town and fight him in desert or above the ocean. Unlike Godzilla, he had a chance to not wreck the city.
I bet they're working on both of those, and that's why they've been taking so long to upload a new one. They probably put this one out first because it took the least amount of time to make.
Man, I don'y know how many times I'm gonna say this but for the last time Superman DID NOT DESTROY THE CITY IT WAS THE WORLD ENGINE!! If you guys still gonna say that supes recked the buildings it was mostly Zod doing that not Supes, Superman grated his head in a building and thats it. Man, it's alomost as if ppl IQ level is low.
That movie sucked, it was full of soooo many plot errors, and was stupid. Really who wrote that script, a 12 year old. Or did they just say " let take every cliche ever and put it all together, but so people actually watch it, let's put a hot guy as superman. If you don't believe me ask cinema sins.
D'Artagnan Hickey A lot of those cinema sins listed can be corrected, but if you comment about it then you just get a bunch of replies from fanboys saying the list isn't meant to be serious anyway. However people like you still use CinemaSins as a legitimate resource to determine a movie's cinematic quality. Something is going on here.
This movie was awesome, this ending was funny too. But people complaining about it so much were expecting the whole movie to be literally nothing but action and a bunch of cgi. Most people don't even know what they want in movies anymore. But this movie stayed true to the old Godzilla movies, and the other monsters being on screen more than Godzilla has happened plenty of times in movies like Godzilla vs Destoroyah. The build up for Godzilla is what made it so epic, and the atomic breath really made the movie. :D P.S This ending was also great. XD
I wish it had been less like the old godzilla movie and shown more city destruction like when godzilla destroyed the bridge it didn't even show the bridge fall down. One massive plot hole is why the hell was godzilla hunting the mutos in the first place? I thought it was to eat them but when he them killed he just left their bodies he didnt even absorb any radiation or anything.
brawler yukon They were a threat to his existence, Godzilla wanted to just kill both the male and female MUTO'S so that they wouldn't make eggs and kill Godzilla, because he's the only one of his species I think.
Herp Derpeez If they were a threat to his existence them surely hiding would be a better option instead of putting you life in danger since the muto didn't seen to be able to go in water they looked more land based. I still loved the movie I think it was great but they still have some things to improve on.
For everyone complaining about the "lack" of Godzilla in the movie and more focus on the humans. Need I remind you all that there have been a few older Godzilla films that have done the same. Destroy All Monsters is one such film, were the main focus is the humans and not the monsters. The movie had a message to it like nearly all of the original Godzilla movies from years past. If that can't be remembered, then no Godzilla film is worth your time!
I do wish that they would show godzilla more but i did like how they showed everything from the humans point of view, and that's what the other movies lacked in my opinion.
***** Dude... they went back to like mothera vs godzilla days. There was mostly humans, how they tryed to beat godzilla or the monster. It was boring but this movie did it right. It was pretty good.
Yes indeed the Heisei & Showa(forgive me if I spelled it wrong) & even the Millennium series Godzilla movies did have a lot of human characters. Butttttt, the storylines made sense. Funny to say for Godzilla movies but seriously, In just about all Showa & Heisei era G films had all of the military attacking Big G. You usually had some military major player deciding how to attack G w/any and everywhere with whatever weapons was available, that was preceded by cabinet meetings of some sort with Government officials. In G14, the most powerful or at least one of the most powerful armed forces in the world seemed to deploy only about one or two tanks. A small navy fleet(one carrier, one-two destroyers and a coast guard boat-lol) and hardly any air support. Yes I know the MUTOS where emitting their EMP and knocked the jets out of the sky but you are trying to tell me that we would not have fired the missles from further distances or at least try to so that MUTOS EMP wouldn't knock out the planes? but still it made the military look like they were just twiddling their thumbs and the human interaction very boring. I mean we didn't even see the PRESIDENT meeting with high ranking armed forces officials saying this and or that to try and stop the monsters unless I slept on that part. In the Showa & Heisei movies Other characters where either scientists, terrorists, aliens all with their own agenda but they were a lot more interesting than the humans in G14. After my second viewing of G14 I liked it a lot better but as funny as this "How it should have ended" was it pointed out some serious points that should have been addressed to make this a better movie.
+Brayant Martinez I don't think so. I searched up Google. They said Godzilla is a female. Some people are saying Godzilla in this one is female while Godzilla in the Japanese one is male. Well there is also a movie called 'Son of Godzilla'. So based on all these reasons, I believe Godzilla is female.
thespacebat Yeah, but in the original movies there never was false build-up. When they promised us Godzilla action they gave us Godzilla action. Unlike the remake, they never cut away to news broadcast when the shit was about to go down.
Godzilla saved more lives, while causing less damage, from a bigger threat than Superman did in Man Of Steel. That and Godzilla was an awesome movie, MoS was a 6/10 at best.
Cena340 Dude, you seem really mad about the fact that 3 people liked Man of Steel. What the fuck was that? You're basically the embodiment of a keyboard warrior.
I was of the same frame of mind, but when I watched MoS again I realized that most of the destruction in Metropolis came from the World Engine. The problem I had with Superman was the fact that he didn't even try to relocate his throwdown with Zod to a less populated area. I'd also argue that the forcible terraforming of an entire planet at the expense of its indigenous population is just as big a threat as the MUTOs were. Otherwise, I agree: MoS is a 6/10.
Ummmm really, sooo the Tsunami he created in his 1st appearance & 2 fights in densely populated areas causing ridiculous amounts of damage & casualties weren't a big deal to you. & the 2 Muto doing what comes natural to animals aka finding a food source & breading without the direct intent of killing people is a bigger threat than a group of virtually unstoppable sun gods who's literal plan requires the genocide of the human race & rebuilding their civilization on its ashes...yeah that makes sense...btw Godzilla was also a 6/10, all the godzilla scenes were cool all 20 mins of them the rest of the movie was boring set-up. I'm not even trying to defend Man of Steel our comment is just plain wrong.
Love the Superman addition here. People just don't get it. Everyone always says the same thing: "Durr... Superman has no excuse.. He could have just flown Zod out of the city... Durr.. Superman wrecked so many buildings and didn't care one bit for any lives! Durr.... Superman killed! Superman should never kill!" People have instant amnesia - they always forget that 99% of the damage to Metropolis was thanks to Zod using the Black Zero and World Engine to terraform. And BTW, Superman blew up the World Engine and in the process, saved 7 billion lives (In other words, the whole planet - minus the hundred thousand that perished in Metropolis - but still 7 billion vs. a hundred thousand - do the math). Then when Superman DID fight Zod, only two whole buildings actually collapsed completely, but people act like Superman's fight with Zod (which only lasted 4 and a half minutes despite people saying it lasted 45 minutes) had two hundred whole buildings collapse. And then when the same idiots say that Superman could have taken Zod out of the city, guess what? He TRIED. TWICE. First time didn't succeed because Zod disengaged from the battle and headed straight into a populated part of town forcing Superman to chase him - and the other when Superman flew Zod up into space, Zod just crashed a satellite and tackled Superman back into the city. You know why it didn't work? Because Zod just told him before the battle that he would kill every single human being as revenge for Kal foiling his plans to rebuild Krypton.
OMG Giant monster! This is getting really dangerous. I should put my camera down and stop filming, because I should be focusing on getting out of this city alive. No need to put myself in extra-danger. Power off! THE END.
I 100% agree with the absurdity of cheering Godzilla and the Jaegers for beating the enemies while destroying a city, but when Superman does it, OH THAT'S BAD!
How it should have ended should do a series titled The Day After, chronicling the day after a hero beats the bad guy and all the repercussions that has. to me it would be funny.
dudejoe24 Yeah superman could easily avoid BEING THROWN THROUGH BUILDINGS how rude of him getting THROWN THROUGH BUILDINGS why couldn't he just NOT GET BEAT UP. geez superman
also the fact that there two completely different films, were the different directors having different to takes on how humanity would react may have something to do with it
gamesandstuffs You do remember the fight begins with Superman grabbing Zod and flying away from the farm and TOWARDS the city, through what looks like a nuclear power plant (iffy on that) and a gas station near a bunch of people, both off which explode. That alone places all the blame on him for TAKING the fight to the city.
It was just so contrived and stupid! It wasn't the MOST stupid thing in the movie, but it's up there with suicidal sociopath Jonathan Kent and the Kryptonians wanting to terraform Earth and not, say, Mars. Heat vision comes from the pupils, first of all. That family should've already been dead. All Zod needed to do was LOOK at them.
Tristan Robertz Yes, EVERYONE over-reacted to Zod. I can tell because literally every comment on this video is talking about it. In fact, not just this video, but every video on UA-cam and every website on the internet and literally everyone that has ever lived and has yet to live in the future somehow takes a few seconds out of their busy lives to do something as important as over-react to superman killing zod in man of steel.
The reason why no one gets mad at Godzilla for destroying the city to fight is because he can't help it, he walks and could level a city. Superman, he can dial it down and not do as much damage. Godzilla can't Oh and, the Jeagers wouldn't have been able to fight the Mutos because of their EMP Plus, they would have been attracted to Gypsy the most because it's nuclear.
Some people have to keep in mind that this is a Hollywood movie. I found it admirable that 'Godzilla' did not pretend to be anything else and still managed to make a few clever choices that boosted character development, something which is rarely seen in blockbusters. They also stayed true to the concept of the original Godzilla, with the references to Hiroshima and the monsters representing nuclear destruction. The whole 'Brozilla' idea at the end of the movies was indeed stupid, but then again, it's still a decent movie within the over the top genre. If you expected to see a film which was not 'lazily' written you might want to stop visiting summer blockbusters, since these movies are being fucked over (artistical wise) by the people who want to cash in on it. Perfect example of this is the train scene, where the soldier (who was raised in fucking Japan) decides to comfort the Japanese child by telling him the lights will come back on soon, in English. That is just Warner Bros trying to save the majority of the public three lines of reading, which is indeed fucking retarded. The movie didn't exceed my expectations and didn't underwhelm them. It's simply a movie about giant monsters. Nothing more, nothing less.
Legendary Godzilla is about twice the size of Gypsy Danger, and probably much heavier, too. Plus, Superman killed way more bystanders than Godzilla. Godzilla gets #1 Hero badge.
alienrat09 Superman caused a shit ton of damage without giving a shit about all the people around. Godzilla clearly paid attention to where the humans were, and tried to avoid them. Hell, the goddamn MILITARY caused more damage than Godzilla did. At one point on the bridge when they're shooting missiles at him, he grabs the side of the bridge to balance himself, but he never actually destroys it. The bridge was destroyed by the military's missiles.
Godzilla destroys the city during the battle cause he's still a monster. Superman destroyed the city cause he was either too stupid to take the fight somewhere else or just evil and wanted metropolis destroyed himself.
Trollin'isMyLife Zod had sworn to kill every single human until there are no left. Supes did try to take the fight somewhere else, but he's fighting someone just as powerful as himself who also had military training. Zod would just bring the fight back to the city and he DID. Yes Superman is strong, but so was Zod, who also had more fighting experience, while Superman was fighting like this for the FIRST TIME.
i think i preffered sups to GZilla.... wellll... it seems kinda mean to jump to conclusions. There's only 1 way to make this decision... GZilla And The King DC... LET THEM FIGHT!!!!!!

Or just the fact that they weren't eating humans, or bothering them at all intentionally as you say unless they were attacked.
10 years later, I never thought that (legendary) Godzilla would ACTUALLY do a leap of faith into the ocean as seen in the GxK leaks lol.

What I especially appreciate about it is how it doesn't completely demonize the movie like everyone else did when it first came out.
No one went to these films to see the humans, they were just padding the run time.
on those times there were no so much resources for making a huge movies so for that reason they put humans a lot of time
At least the old Godzilla movies focused around Godzilla and in this one Godzilla was a supporting character in his own movie! and yea the original one didn't give him a lot of screen time but guess what? there's 20+ more Godzilla films where there's more screen time and just cause the director wanted less screen time we have to settle for it? No! We came to watch Godzilla not see Mutos and humans fight! While everyone was cheering and clapping at the end of the movie me and my cousins were booing because this was honestly one of the biggest disappointments in my life
mick romney What are you talking about? Its the same formula as the other japanese ones.

Godzilla vs Superman: Dawn of Destruction
C'mon guys, it could work. Would be Awesome!
Or how about Godzilla vs Justice League?
***** I don't think people would appreciate Superman being pretty useless. I would want Godzilla to win, so yeah he definitely beats mind controlled Superman, but it should take Godzilla and Superman to beat King Ghidorah. Other then that, perfect.
hunter zillas If superman fought Godzilla, Godzilla would get wrecked, especially if it was the justice league, either they nerf Superman, or no movie
***** nice fan fiction idea
hunter zillas think of it this way superman probably wouldn't be able to strategize as well as he would if he wasn't under mind control.
exactly it can work.

Must I say how absolutely CORRECT Superman is???
Well, in Godzilla's defense, Superman could take Zod away from town and fight him in desert or above the ocean. Unlike Godzilla, he had a chance to not wreck the city.
Superman couldn't get zod away from the city watch the movie he actually makes several attempts to get zod away from the city
Steven Miller Well, he could have at least try harder.
Why are you reading my nickname? The guy that could fly and carry doomsday from metropolis to the arctic chooses to stay put and snap zods neck
RandoM Videos Well to be fair, Snyder took such criticism too seriously, which is why he had such a scene in the first place...

Agreed
Agreed, most damage was done by the terraforming engine. The most damage superman did was with the first big fight,
My only complaint is that he didn't move his fight elsewhere. Aside from that it was an amazing movie.
4 minute video, still more footage of Godzilla than in the actual movie.
How did colonial marines get a platinum hit edition?
Empty promises...........
That would be witty if it was true.
Eggtoothisland well, the film was what, 2 hours long? I think in terms of ratio Godzilla/not Godzilla footage, their about the same.
Eggtoothisland It would be depressing if it was true. It's witty now!
I like how in this scene 2:07 everything and everyone explodes except Godzilla
Herp Derpeez Yeah.
Michael Caboose Yeah, he needed to defeat them to survive.
Oh I know. I found the movie to be very well done. I'm just tired of everyone complaining about it is all. I honestly adore the early showa era films.
After my second viewing of G14 I liked it a lot better but as funny as this "How it should have ended" was it pointed out some serious points that should have been addressed to make this a better movie.
well u got a point but why does godzilla take so long to show :(

Well there is also a movie called 'Son of Godzilla'. So based on all these reasons, I believe Godzilla is female.
If it's a male are all his kids adopted

Godzilla saved more lives, while causing less damage, from a bigger threat than Superman did in Man Of Steel.
That and Godzilla was an awesome movie, MoS was a 6/10 at best.
Talk talk. You haters always have a gull to run your mouth. Clearly you don't understand jack about Man of Steel. Shut up
Cena340 Dude, you seem really mad about the fact that 3 people liked Man of Steel.
I don't know, a bunch of supermen with terraforming technology and superpowers would cause a lot more damage.

Superman should never kill!"
People have instant amnesia - they always forget that 99% of the damage to Metropolis was thanks to Zod using the Black Zero and World Engine to terraform.
Problem with the amnesia theory, bub. You need a brain to have amnesia.
Hahah... True, true.

I 100% agree with the absurdity of cheering Godzilla and the Jaegers for beating the enemies while destroying a city, but when Superman does it, OH THAT'S BAD!
How it should have ended should do a series titled The Day After, chronicling the day after a hero beats the bad guy and all the repercussions that has. to me it would be funny.
well giant monsters and robots fighting that happens because giants while super man could easliy avoid all that
dudejoe24 Yeah superman could easily avoid BEING THROWN THROUGH BUILDINGS how rude of him getting THROWN THROUGH BUILDINGS why couldn't he just NOT GET BEAT UP.
geez superman
also the fact that there two completely different films, were the different directors having different to takes on how humanity would react may have something to do with it
gamesandstuffs You do remember the fight begins with Superman grabbing Zod and flying away from the farm and TOWARDS the city, through what looks like a nuclear power plant (iffy on that) and a gas station near a bunch of people, both off which explode. That alone places all the blame on him for TAKING the fight to the city.
I happen to like "Man of Steel." Judge me all you want, but I agree with Superman in this video, everyone over reacted to him killing Zod.
Tristan Robertz he does it in superman 2 too. no one ever complains about that
It was just so contrived and stupid!
I agree..what jail will they put him in. Plus it was good development he was crushed that he had to kill him.

The reason why no one gets mad at Godzilla for destroying the city to fight is because he can't help it, he walks and could level a city.
Superman, he can dial it down and not do as much damage.
Godzilla can't
Oh and, the Jeagers wouldn't have been able to fight the Mutos because of their EMP
Plus, they would have been attracted to Gypsy the most because it's nuclear.
Oh shit lol, but gypsy would be immune, it's nuclear power
ya, but it would have the same problem as G did when fighting them, two on one, unless G and Gipsy work together.
Agencyagent33 I haven't seen Pacific Rim, but if the Gypsy tobot was nuclear powered, it would suck in Godzilla because the Muto would try to eat it.
NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERD!
No, superman can't dial it down when he's fighting a person almost his equal in strength bent on destroying the planet
I'd say Godzilla is more along the lines of a cat 10

Oh my Godzilla
The gypsy danger scene is reference to leroy jenkin fyi
@tech four9 it's an old meme
Twice? Godzilla's less then 100 feet taller then Gipsy
When in MoS did Supes kill anyone besides zod? And his collateral damage was tons less than Godzilla's
alienrat09 Wrong. Godzilla was underwater for most of the movie and when he did show up, the Mutos were the ones who had already done all the damage.
alienrat09 the one time we saw Godzilla actually cause major damage he was being shot by the military while clearly avoiding a shit ton of people.
alienrat09
Superman caused a shit ton of damage without giving a shit about all the people around.
"either too stupid to take the fight "
He took the fight to outerspace, Zod bought him back.
Jesus did you guys even watch the film before bitching ?
Let it go maybe?
Trollin'isMyLife As if Zod would allow it.
Trollin'isMyLife
Zod had sworn to kill every single human until there are no left.
Oh' C'mon Superman did save that Tacovan in the movie didn't he? Or maybe I was watching the wrong version, it was phillipino after all.
10 years later, Godzilla actually jumped into the ocean
was about to write it lmao
Wanna know a secret, Superman? It's because Godzilla was actually likable in his movie
i think i preffered sups to GZilla.... wellll... it seems kinda mean to jump to conclusions. There's only 1 way to make this decision... GZilla And The King DC... LET THEM FIGHT!!!!!!
I mean, also, one's an intelligent being that's supposed to save people and the other is literally a metaphor for natural disasters.
and he did save people. the entire planet infact.
Shots have been fired.
Plus Godzilla looks cooler and has a better name
According to Bryan Cranston, Gareth Edwards was inspired by the shark film Jaws (1975). "The film does not immediately show the beast, but rather build up to its appearance while still delivering an eerie and terrifying off-screen presence."
Might have worked if they had used any other name and monster that the audience didn't pay to see.
NEWS FLASH EVERYONE!
