Changed out the seals and power steering fluid. Such a relief getting that black old smelly fluid out! #acura #rsx #integra Integra dc5 dc2 dc4 da9 db2
I’m going to gravity bleed the brakes soon, and it’s going to be Acura fluid 👌 and yes, Genuine power steering fluid is only supposed to go in the power steering system. Years ago I made the mistake of putting another brand in, and paid the price of 4 leaks in the power steering including a blown rack
Not sure if you’ll see this but I have a pretty bad leak but it’s from my return line! I ripped it out and will be replacing a new line but most of my plastic brackets broke! Not sure how I’ll be able to even put new ones in lmao. Makes me so upset

@@IntegraDIY you sir are a blessing! Truly a blessing! But here’s the kicker, the previous owner wasn’t using genuine fluid from Honda. What do you think I should do? Fix the leaks and do a complete flush or do you think my steering rack is ruined?
My 02 type s ...PSP squeal every time i start it ..stops when engine is warm..also stops when i give a squirt of WD40...i guess it could be bad fluid because housing is full..just got it replaced 6 months ago so it could be my shitty mechanic..guess im doing this ..this weekend FML

Honda and Acura is the same company. This same power steering component was used in the 2002-2005 Honda Civic Si.. it’s the same fluid. Only use Honda/Acura PS fluid, any other brand will cause severe PS failure

Turkey Baster genius! Thank god for the DIY community. You guys make the world go round
Thanks for the video. I need to do this to my Integra soon.

The cap says Honda fluid, you used Acura fluid. Is that ok?
