my 13 yr old daughter has built some of the wood works when she was 10. ferris wheel, crane, car, the robotic hand was her first. built it in 2 days. 9 hours first day, finished in 5 hours the next day.

I'm here to tell you, having experienced putting together a locomotive kit from ROKR, those little wooden pieces do *NOT* fit together this easily! It's more shove and push and the kit pushes back.
I might also add that the kit includes a dab of wax for lubricating the gears, but neglects to tell you when to apply that wax. You're just supposed to *know* that it must be done eventually, before you finish and can no longer reach the gears. So when you finish, you have a beautiful model that won't run more than 2 seconds.
Oh well. Looks good anyway.
