So she was 17, didn't pull the trigger? and there was no plan to murder? so it legally can't be first degree and she got life without parole. That is wild to me. The fact the victim is forever gone, does that mean that everyone involved should go to prison forever? Most states say hell no...but Idk.

I like that she owns her misdeeds, and doesn't try to sugarcoat them. I also appreciate that she understands the gravity of her actions, and how they have impacted others. Very interested in seeing more of her.

I didn't do it because at the end I knew it was wrong. I just dealt with the pain until I didn't have to worry about it anymore. I wish I could share my story because some time I can remember it like it was yesterday.

More like this please. I looked into Kelly's past. I read the news stories and the petition from the sister of her victim against granting her parole. It is the family of Joseph Garcia who have my sympathies. What Kelly did was methodically evil. It bothers me that she was unwilling give a full and frank account of her crimes. I don't believe you can be truly repentant until you can own your actions which entails being able to communicate to others what you did and that you hold yourself accountable. With that being said, she served nearly 29 years. She's deservedly spent the best part of her life behind bars. I can see the argument that she might be rehabilitated and do more good out in the world than she would locked in a cell. Do I trust her? Having watched her and listened to her talk for forty minutes, absolutely not. I think she's very clever.
I think she regrets everything she has done and has PTSD from it so don't judge too much but I understand what your saying. Just remember she wasn't the only one
I Googled her story & arrest...even though she didnt commit the actual murder, she lured that young man ( her hs classmate) to steal his car & got a life sentence. Not sure if the other guy involved got released or not.
