Dances of Acholi: Dingi Dingi - Part_1.mp4

This is what Acholi youth likes to do in their free time. This practice of the group "Ker Kal Kwaro Acholi Cultural Group" took place in February 2012 on the Paramount Chief's Compound in Gulu - Northern Uganda. The Dingi Dingi dance form is divided into a number of different parts, each emphasizing specific movements and positions. This video represents only one out of six parts that had been performed on this day. I will upload the remaining parts soon.
